Ruusaan's Ramblings

A lover of all things star wars, mandalorian, steampunk, and more, I'm here to share my nerdiness with fellow nerds. My current main project is drawing a mandalorian every day for the year of 2023. ~ I also cosplay, write, craft, and make my own cardboard armor.

Finally Watched Rvb Restoration.

Finally watched rvb restoration.

I don’t want to say goodbye to this.

I’ve been here for almost three months. Red vs Blue is stitched into the projects I made while watching it and deep into my heart.

this show I’ve both hated and adored for as long as I’ve watched.

somehow Tucker turned out to be a character I actually like. Caboose is more wise than anyone gives him credit for. I don’t give a crap what rt says grimmons is absolutely cannon they are so in love dude. wash and carolina are going to be okay. sarge went out fighting a blue.

I still really like season 15. It can live in tandem with restoration.

This may be the end of rooster teeth RvB, but I know tumblr has my back.

time to start my wash recovery one cosplay, my suit and tie Felix cosplay, and my rewatch of the series.

It’s been a wild ride.

Mandoa Glossary: Aruetiise: Foreigners, Outsiders, Mandoad/ade: Child/children Of Mandalore
MIXING WITH MANDO ADE Mandalorians are much more sociable than generally supposed. Most aruetiise encounter them at the point of a blaster, but if you meet them in a more peaceful setting they're usually gracious hosts and honest business associates. As long as you observe the following rules, you need never discover their aggressive side. • Say what you mean. • Never refuse the offer of a drink or a meal-for nomadic people, who live hand to mouth, this is the greatest compliment they can pay a guest. • Never make a pass at a Mando'ad of either sex unless you intend to offer marriage and become Mando. • Look them in the eye or, if they're wearing helmets, look straight into the horizontal section of the visor. • Take off your boots when entering their home. • Pay your debts immediately. • Make a fuss of their children. • Treat elderly Mando'ade with reverence. Any Mando who survives to a venerable age must be an exceptional warrior, and will still be capable of making you regret your lack of respect. Some aruetiise find the Mandalorian character and culture so appealing that they join them. This life is not for the faint-hearted, but those who value loyalty, commitment to family, and a passionate zest for life will find the Mandalorian way irresistible. After all, aliit ori shya tal'din-family is more than bloodlines.

Okay but like the Foundling mythos is possibly my favorite bit of worldbuilding ever because that means that in the heart of every Mandalorian is a cultural expectation that's sole purpose is just to grab them by the helmet, point a commanding gremlin finger at them and go;

"Do you see this child? An abandoned child? A child unattended?! I think not!"

Until it is grown or reunited with its own kind, you are as it's parent.

That's just. Fam. Can you imagine? This applying to Bo-Katan? To Boba Fett? To Sabine Wren? Trying to bounty hunt and lead revolutions and do crime and blow up imperials and their main side quests are all adventures in involuntary babysitting?

Like with Din it's great, but applying it to every single mando we'd ever meet is hilarious. I love it.

It's finally done. After 5 months of slaving over this piece and gallons of paint "accidentally" eaten, my baby is finished.

It's Finally Done. After 5 Months Of Slaving Over This Piece And Gallons Of Paint "accidentally" Eaten,

I'm likely gonna redo most of the top left quadrant later since it was rushed, but everything else looks pretty good in my humble opinions :)
