how do u think the savanaclaw boys would react to the reader cooking some traditional/comfort filipino foods for them while they're sick or smth?? stuff like sinigang or tinola or arrozcaldo yk??
• Tastes from the far East •
My utmost apologies for getting to this late it's graduation season and I'm a tad busy dealing with papers and school transferring TwT. This req definitely helped me unwind before the big day ;D. Even had to ask my brother for help because his favorite Food is sinigang.
Serving them something from home:

There's a very faint feeling in my chest that he'd like our tomato sauce dishes. Afritada, Caldareta, Menudo, Mechado etc. He's someone who doesn't like vegetables but I feel like the sauce/broth used in the aforementioned dishes would somehow overpower any other veggie present that and- Savory meat 🤤.
In the case that you do serve one of the above while he's sick, I'm partially certain you can sneak the carrots into his system but that's just me most likely hidbdkf
Leona would most likely be against eating them in the first place, especially with how they look. It's not that he looks down on the dish/es it's probably because he's more used to another sort of mix from the afterglow savanah. Even then you'd have to shove the spoon into his mouth in order for him to eat said food (don't worry you didn't forget the rice)
Ever since then he had a very distint memory of the taste, remembering how foreign your recipe was yet it wasn't so otherworldly to the point of alienating. On the contrary it was an ironic nostalgia he can't pin point but suffice it to say he's mood isn't too bad as it was the first time.
"What? You honestly think that's enough to get me full? What do you take me for, Herbivore?
Be careful of feeding him other ulam tho TwT. Tinola, Sinigang and Bulalo are clear enough for him to turn away from the complimentary greens. Perhaps tomatoes aren't a bad part to his diet tho...

Undoubtedly the most appreciative, at first glance he comes off as just grateful that he doesn't need to spend any money or effort for his meal (sick or not). I'm pretty sure Ruggie himself is a hidden specialist in concocting delicious food from the most simplest of ingredients. So it's easy to picture him being somewhat astonished by Tinola and how tasty it is despite the few ingredients you used.
You could've been a bit fancier to be honest, but you had to purposely leave out a few ingredients due to the short notice. Then again you'd be caught dead if you dare remove the malunggay leaves. Regardless— Ruggie doesn't seem to mind, to him it was a good meal and the way the broth complimented the subtle flavor of the chicken and greens *chef's kiss*
He's cheeky enough to joke about cooking that food again for him next time. In the case you do entertain his lighthearted request he doesn't turn down the serving. And now that you've had time to actually prepare for it the dish is finally complete in its contents.
He definitely spits out the peppercorn, tried biting it the first time thinking it'd taste a bit differently with your foreign dish but no it's just the same annoying piece of dried crop he's accidentally chewed as a kid in the market.
"Oi it tasted fine without it the first time!- maybe leave it out next time? Eh? Well yeah there's a next time-"
Worry not about the tedious preparation, the more times you do it the more willing he becomes in assisting with the gathering process. If you're both dedicated enough, you'll reach a point where Sam has your order of ingredients memorized and prepackaged.

I'm gonna take my chances with Jack. You feed him Paksiw na Isda and he's opened a whole new alley of culinary pallete. Before even getting him to eat the dish he's turning his nose away from the smell of fish and..vinegar? Yes he's questioning it-
He's sick, but his sense of smell is painfully hyphened and the aroma of vinegar isn't exactly helping his nasal health- the look on your face was the only thing that got him to open his mouth when you spoon fed him a portion of the salmon within the dish.
His ears would twitch in different directions but eventually he opens his mouth for another bite without any other word whatsoever. You'll have to take this as your sign that he did indeed agree with the odd combination (as odd as it is to him.)
Then you serve him Sinigang the next day, he's slightly taken aback by how different two sour dishes can be despite both being, well, sour. Yet he somehow prefers the latter soley because he cam bare the scent a bit more.
"Look you really didn't have to... it's a nice change though and well- I think you're holding back."
He was partially right- you did held back after his first reaction to your paksiw dish but you started a routine of experimenting other ulams for yhe first year. By the end of the month he's likely made a verdict of what's his favorite but he'd keep it to himself. After all you looked quite happy cooking your native dishes.

Genshin Thought :: Archon War and Constellations
A rather old ramble I've had regarding vision holders and their respective constellations, heavily inspired by the "Guizhong reincarnated as Ninguang" theory

It's been knocking at my mind for a while now but basically. What if every vision wielder today in teyvat were reincarnated gods that lost in the archon war? This initially stemmed from the "Ninguang is Guizgong's Reincarnation" Theory since her constellation (the guizhong balista) and her Ascension material had ties to the goddess.
Then a thought hit that what if, every vision holders' constellation was in fact their former rule as a deity in the time of the gods- what if Amber was indeed a rabbit type of deity back then or itto was a bull sort of god- what if Beidou was a dragon or something etcetc— this also coincides with the current playable archons having themselves as constellations.
This also ignites the principle of "ambition" to vision holders- how come a literal child got granted a vision when someone like teppei didn't? It's not supposed to negate or dismiss them but what if there was a specific reason in general. What if the ambition Celestia recognizes is the ambition of the dead now reincarnated deities who have came back into touch with the power visions hold.
Now bare with me here- Mona, she's a hydro user and an astrologist. She's a columnist in the Steam bird- something from Fontaine that is ruled by the archon of justice herself. Now bare with me again- Mona can see and read constellations, now look at the quote about the hydro archon-
"The God of Justice lives for the spectacle of the courtroom, seeking to judge all other gods—"
What an element does reflecting their archon... So Mona probably possibly hypothetically- seeing these former gods and deities through the ideals of hydro (?). Then again this is about the new archon of justice Idk about the first so its not that much help me thinks.
This whole thing isn't a full theory per se just a fun concept to play with. It's late my brain is going haywire TwT. Feel free to discuss with me!

any headcanons on the demon brothers with a child MC?? maybe there was a mix up on the age in their file or something so they were expecting a grown exchange student and were met with a kid?? could also be a teen but that's up to you!!
• Youthful Student •
Hope you don't mind the mixed format T T, I think the accumulated headcanons fit a potluck type of serving rather than individual segments? Most of these are a shared effort between 3 or more brothers to so it'd be easier to just throw them in one lump jkfb. That and I've done a similar request last year! Think of this as an extension.
When you're younger than intended:

Whatever swindling thought Mammon had, it’s out the window. At first he refused to be the first assigned babysitter to the “exchange student” but, the thought of someone as young as being passed to his admittedly harsh brothers convinced him at the last minute.
He definitely considered taking you out to play with that little girl he’s been secretly taking care of, you two would get along swimmingly! That’s what he thought anyway.
Levi was even more reluctant to take you in as the new resident- world jumping stories usually had someone at least 16 but you weren’t even half that fan assigned age minimum??? Why can’t Diavolo send you back?- Then you called him Onii-san.
Every morning whenever Lucifer needs Levi to attend face to face classes you were the key to get him out his room. A simple "c'mon Levi-nii" already has the Avatar of Envy grabbing his digital notepad and headphones out the door.
That makes two demons on your big brother team. The third person to become your accidental sibling was Beel of all people. An accident at first but holding you felt like holding a big sentient marshmallow.
The fourth born clowned himself, telling to his reflection in yhe mirror over and over again how he's only getting close to you to study human children and how they differ in maturity compared to the grown humans he'd have to encounter.
In the end he got over the denial and proudly took you with him to cat cafes (after making sure you weren't allergic to the critters, of course.)
Asmodeus of course felt pouty with your bonding with the rest of the brothers, especially after seeing a post from Satan where it captioned something about bonding under a picture of you within a pile of cats.
Asmo wasn't easily allowed by the other brothers to come near you but they did eventually cave in after he hauled in bags upon bags of clothing for your petite frame. Styling you in the best way he could and with hid skill- you could be mistaken as a kid's fashion model in the human realm.
Asmo would occasionally fuss over Beel offering you so much food even lecturing him about your diet- which can potentially ruin both your clothes and your appetite.
At this point in time Beel decided to seek help from Satan regarding what food a human child such as yourself can consume. It took him a solid month seeing as he kept getting distracted over the idea of good itself rather than the actual studying part.
Belphegor did take advantage of your childish help, and I'd like to think that he didn't want to off you the last minute in lesson 16 but accidents happened and you were desperately clutching on what you understood in the plane of the living.
After such horrendous events he tried everything to make it up to you, a child who knew no better than him when he first opened his eyes amidst the soft environment of the Celestial realm.
Pillows? Stuffed animals? He beat all his brothers in spoiling you in this department. Anything to make you feel a bit safer around him even if it does take a mountain of plushies...
Do you think he isn't listening while you tell him the names of your plushie kingdom? Oh he has them memorized even with his eyes closed. He knew he somehow scraped himself out your hate list after he heard you naming one of your cow plushies as Belphemoo
Albeit childish his resentment of humans in general became a distaste for Diavolo- why would he let a young child like yourself stay here in literal hell? Such thoughts come to a stop whenever you tug him back for nap time.
Lucifer rarely indulges in taking care of you due to workload but, once or twice a month he attends your "tea parties" specially sponsored by Barbatos' support. During these personal get togethers, he's able to hear how you perceive your experience without biased outside forces.
Your presence did impact the devildom in the long run, teaching the highest authorities of hell that maybe they should focus on the next generation if they're intending to keep this place prosperous. But for now you'll settle with your many brothers and the memories no matter how fleeting— treasured in your youthful mind.

This is for the fatherless girlies out there 😔-/HEAVYLHJ My dearest genshin anon I wish you knew how many fatherless jokes I made behind the screen as a I typed this piece, as a Diluc kinnie I have bullying rights ok-
⚠️ Mentions of Death ⚠️

Diluc is a callous man, that was probably a wayward adjective most can silently agree on when it comes to describing the Ragnvindr Master. But when he found a special someone to settle with a decade ago everyone collectively agreed that something changed within him. It wasn’t an obvious effect of domestic life nor was it a fatigue specially gotten when tending to your family rather, a relieved glint within his gaze whenever his attention was unoccupied by his usual work.
Then came the day that another close beloved left him behind, the grief reopened past wounds that no one dared remind besides his ever elusive “brother”. The fire his vision ignited became dangerously desperate, it wasn’t the mighty flame that stretched its blazing wings across the air but an avian who departed from its flock too early, desperately flying away to try and find its kindred within the cruel night’s wind.
The line of nostalgia came to a halt when he snapped his gaze away from the candle light, sighing as he averted his scarlet gaze back to where you sat, a bright youngster who couldn’t keep their nose out of a book and Diluc didn’t mind this one bit. The Ragnvindr blood had always been a dominant gene, and you proudly showed off the bright red locks you inherited from your dear father, but your smile and the way your eyes glinted with excitement was unmistakably gotten from your passed parent. Something Diluc had always said he moved on from, but white lies can’t go against burning red, right?
And if he endured that grief to this day then what more would you have to bear should he also fall into the clutches of an untimely death. Such a pessimistic line of thinking made him question how late it was but realistically speaking who do you have left besides him? Sure you were well loved by the people of Mondstat and you have your fair share of friends your age, and he knew deep within his heart that your Auntie Jean wouldn’t neglect you with his wishes but then again she was in the same risk of deathly peril as he was. Barbara? A respectable role model for his child one he wouldn’t mind you looking up to as both an Idol and a familial figure.
“Papa? Do you wanna read?”
Diluc snapped out of his trance, your youthful voice brought him back to reality after staring off into space for a minute too long. You seemed to have taken it as him eyeing your fairy tail book and after working for so long today maybe he wanted to consume something more fictitious rather than the mundane paperwork? That’s what you thought at least.
The older redhead only replied with a dry chuckle, standing up ever so slowly before approaching your much smaller figure and hoisting you and your book up in order for him to slip into your seat— garnering your figure to make rest on his lap. His words of assurance towards your question managed to tug a smile on your expression.
The book you held was a special gift from Lisa for your last birthday, a beige leather book that had a compilation of children’s fairy tales. The current story you were reading was that of a Fairy kingdom where the royal heir goes on adventures with the aid of a holy songstress, an other worldly pirate, a northern toy maker and a benevolent kitsune. Meeting all these people reminded Diluc that perhaps you had a brighter future compared to what his intrusive thoughts entailed. You were currently at the part where the royal heir had finally returned to their kingdom not knowing that their father the King had grown ill.
Diluc grimaced at the scene especially when your innocent mind pointed out how much it sucked that the Heir wasn’t able to spend much time left with their papa. In an attempt to stop you from going down a dimmer line of thinking like he did, he took the reins and began reading for you. You’ve always been unconventionally bright, perhaps you just got it from both parents, something he’s simultaneously cursing and thankful for. And so on he read with the gentlest tone he could muster lest he fail his attempt.
“Even when the fairy king became one with the flowers… He’d always watch over his child, from young royal to a proud monarch. Plucking a flower from the ground is rather… iffy but, know that the absence gives new space for something only the royal child can make. One day you’ll make something of your own and when you do, many people will be there to cheer you on” “Really?” “Of course sweetheart.”
Soon enough you finally retired to your quarters, book clutched within your arms as Diluc pulled your thermal blanket over your figure. He softly shut the mahogany door before turning on his heel to trudge back to his office, passing by the foyer’s open window where he had a perfectly good view of the star littered sky above. Deep down he wished it was him instead of his beloved, he shook those thoughts away allowing his gaze to linger a little longer whilst his thoughts slowly drowned back into the plane of what ifs.
His comrades, his family, his allies, he truly hoped that one day you’ll have your own chosen kindred just like him, ones who wouldn’t allow your hopes and dreams to fall and shatter on the ground into unfixable pieces. That was wishful thinking— even with his current efforts, the world as is was crueler. He ought to send a more realistic wish, one where he hoped that one day you would have people to help you pick up your pieces. A young flame as bright as yourself can pull it off… This was a fact he can count on even beyond the grave.
“Dawn always comes… and until then, sleep well, dear.”
