Right? Like it was fun theorizing with the images we have been given, but we didn't actually want to find out until the episode actually aired!
That everything could have been a mystery!
It doesn't even have to be about our theories, just us being excited to see what happens next!
i saw the trailer
i'm not gonna say anything
but at the end they spoiled a pretty big point in the episode and lemme tell y'all
it sucks a lot.

Everyone's talking about the new episode, so I just want to leap in with something that I haven't seen mentioned which I think is pretty cool and important.
This episode shows exactly why Adrien failed as Viperion and why Luka succeeds. Adrien saw the second chance as something for him to use to finally get things right. He looked at it and thought "if I try hard enough, for long enough, I won't make a mistake".
Luka knows the actual usefulness of the power, which is not using it like a save state in a video game to try to achieve perfect play. Each time he resets, the first thing he does is pass on the information he learned.
Adrien is an independent agent and a follower. He's happy to follow orders, but he's not a support character. He functions independently with Ladybug even though he knows how to work with her. Ie, Chat Noir is Ladybug's partner, not her support.
Luka is a helper. His instincts don't lean towards saving the day on his own, or drawing attention to himself, or thinking that he knows what should be done. Luka uses his role as Viperion to help Ladybug and Chat Noir do their jobs better, getting little glory and without the main heroes or Paris knowing what he experiences to help them.
Neither of these characteristics are bad. They're both really useful things to have on a team of superheroes. I just think it's really cool how well this episode demonstrated that the miraculouses actually do need to go to specific people, and not everyone can utilize every miraculous properly.
the cooking show Iām watching is rated PG-13 for language and nudity
Something silly I started but I couldnt finish it in under 48 hours so IĀ lost drive. I hope you enjoy anyway despite the random cut and abrupt end. Edit: song is Touching My Hand - Be More Chill Musical Demo/Cut Song
any time someone brings up covidās survival rate, I go absolutely fucking feral. It doesnāt fucking matter. What matters are the numbers. It could have a 99.9% survival rate, and if enough Ā people get it, thatās still hundred of thousands of people dead. Millions, dead. 99.9% out of 7 billion is a fucking enormous number. Maybe not an entire city, but MILLIONS. DEAD. FOR NO REASON.Ā
Are you going to make a part 2?
Missed Connection
Authorās note: This is set in @buggachatās bakery enemies au. If youāve never heard of it before, check the bottom of this fic for a brief summary. (Youāll need it for context.)
Based off buggachatās comment about Adrienās wardrobe in her au: āHe owns a lot of black. Something about⦠increasing the chances of being recognized in a crowd. By someone. Perhaps.ā
ā
It had been years, but Marinetteās grief still hit her at odd times. With the smell of hot coffee or the plinking of rain on a metal roof, sheād be fifteen again, overlooking the city with him on a misty Saturday morning. Or the shriek of children playing would jolt her dusty battle nerves back to life and she would suddenly miss the feel of him at her back. Or she would see someone with a smile that was just close enough to his that it made her heart hurt.
Today, it was a glimpse of blond hair.
The crowd was thick as she waited at the crosswalk next to the bakery. It was a fleeting glance through a sea of people. The exact right color. The same style, like heād kept it the same all these years so she would recognize it. The perfect length to run her fingers through. Pushing on her tiptoes for a better view, Marinette could barely see his shoulders. Black cloth over the right build. The same hair. She could practically see where cat ears would have sat.
The light changed. Strangers brushed past her as she stood there, transfixed. Was it possible? In a city of two million, had she finally found the one sheād been searching for? Marinette blinked, and he disappeared in the stream of people.
Her voice came out in a whisper. āWait.ā And then a shout. āWait!ā
That was him. Sheād found him! And she wasnāt going to let him get away again! She scrambled through the crowd, pushing past elbows and skirting around glares.
She reached for him when she saw him, stomach swooping, heart beating.
He turned. Green eyes, warm and trusting.
āMarinette?ā he said.
She blinked.
Adrien. It was only Adrien. It hadnāt been- He wasnāt- Marinetteās heart collapsed back in on itself.
He put a steadying hand on her shoulder. āAre you okay?ā he asked in the same concerned tone her partner would have used.
Her former partner.
āIām fine,ā Marinette lied. She brushed her cheek, surprised to find it dry.

Authorās other note: This is based on buggachatās bakery enemies au here on tumblr (which you seriously need to check out if you havenāt seen yet). For those who are unaware, hereās the gist: Adrien and Marinette never met. Ladynoir was kinda sorta canon-ish. They never traded identities, took Hawk Moth down, and in the final battle the kwamis all went into hibernation. Ladybug and Chat Noir never saw each other again. Fast forward a couple years. Marinette has just moved back to Paris to find out that her parents have hired someone to help out in the bakery: the son of Hawk Moth himself! And Marinetteās sure he must have been in on Hawk Mothās plans.
Now, go check out the au! Itās one of my most favoritest things to ever come out of this or any other fandom.
