FOREST ;

                aurora  loves  the  forest  .  her  upbringing  in  the  castle  ,  with  the  constant  precautions  the  king  and  queen  took  to  make  sure  the  curse  never  happened  ,  was  a  rather  sheltered  one  .  aside  from  other  royals  and  family  visits,  aurora  hadn’t  ventured  far  from  the  castle  .  as  she  perfected  her  horse  riding  growing  up  ,  the  forest  had  be  the  farthest  she  would  go  .  and  it  truly  wasn’t  far  to  begin  with  .  but  ,  it  gave  her  that  sense  of  journey  that  she  really  wanted  .  so  when  she  wasn’t  in  the  castle  or  the garden  ,  the  forest  was  the  next  best  place  to  search  for  her  .  

Headcanon + motherhood

MOTHERHOOD ;

               as  a  princess  and  the  only  heir  to  the  throne  ,  with  a  curse  unknown  to  her growing up  placed  at  birth  ,  aurora  had  always  known  that  her  duty  would  be  to  be  queen  after  her  parents  would  pass  and  have  an  heir  to  secure  their  lineage  further  .  so  when  it  came  time  to  her  giving  birth  after  her  100  year  sleep  ,  aurora  knew  her  children  were  important  .  they  became  her  world  ,  not  just  in  what  they  would  continue  but  also  as  her  own  family  with  the  man  she  fell  in  love  with  .  aurora  knew  of  her  mother’s  struggle  to  carry  a  child  full term  ,  and  later  on learned  she was  a  magic  baby  from  the  fairies  .  so  to  be  blessed  with  not  just  one  full term  healthy  baby  but  two  ,  aurora  treated  her  children  like  GOLD  .  she  provided  her  children  with  the  best  of  the  best  .  her  role  of  being  their  mother  was  very  important  ,  sometimes  she  put  it  before  her  duty  as  queen  .  she  was  very  involved  in  their  studies  ,  their  interests  and  she  made  time  for  her  family  to  be  together  for  a  time  --  be  it  a  family  trip  or  simple  musical  night  .
