“Sir.”

Someone whispers into Kihyun’s ears and when his eyes widen with shock and looks your way, you fall a little curious as to what is going on. A moment of anger, his eyes glare your way before turning back to his men while you sit there on the cold floor, silent and unmoving.

“Keep watch of her, make sure no one comes in.”

Ah. Father probably managed to find you, huh? But how? There’s no way he has enough power to face Kihyun with the position your mafia is in so perhaps he got help? But from who?

Who else but Bangtan?

Your heart aches a little thinking about it as you watch Kihyun walk away with a slam of the door right behind him. All that’s left is darkness once more with the man guarding you keeping a close eye right beside the door.

You hope it’s Namjoon. He’s a little late but at this point you don’t care about timing anymore, as long as you get out of this hellhole.

Your wrists hurt and your limps are tense and aching from having to stay here for some time with a man who refuses to take his sight off you. One little movement is enough for him to grow aggravated.

You just want to see your father again. You hope he’s alright.

You aren’t sure how long Kihyun’s taking for him to leave you alone for this long but you lose track of time. Now that he’s away, you can take the time to rest your eyes. Just for a second, you tell yourself. You’ll be alright if you rest for just a second. Kihyun’s occupied and won’t bother you for now so this is the perfect time to catch up on some sleep.

So you let your eyes droop, falling closed, letting your head rest against the hard wall behind you. Your arms feel uncomfortable as you’re still chained up but for now all you care about is getting some rest.

You need to rest.

How long has it been anyways?

A sudden ruckus is heard outside and you feel your eyes slowly peeking open, hoping and praying that it isn’t Kihyun returning.

The door opens with a slam and you find with your blurry eyes the sight of someone familiar.

“Y/N!” The guard on standby rushes to stop him but he falls defeated and in just seconds, the familiar man rushes at your side. “Y/N…you’re alright…” A soft sigh leaves him once he’s taken a look at you and you feel him touch your back so that he could lean you forward in order to reach the chains holding you hostage.

You lean against his shoulder, feeling so tired as your nostrils prick and tears begin to form along your waterline.

“You’re alright now.” Taehyung chuckles upon the feel of your chin against his shoulder. It’s a shock because you’ve never been so quiet and obedient to let yourself lean against any of them. He’s surprised you haven’t even scolded him for being a little late in saving you. “Namjoon’s here and he’s got evidence to take Kihyun down so you don’t have to worry about—”

When he finally gets the chains off your wrists and lean backs, Taehyung pauses in his words as he gets a look at the state you are in. Red cheek, disheveled hair, chapped lips, bags under your eyes, and so, so quiet.

You’ve never been one to fall quiet. Not like this.

He reaches out to touch your red cheek, only to quickly freeze when you flinch upon his touch and his eyes widens.

You’re scared.

“What the hell did he do to you?” Darkness overtakes his eyes when you tremble before him, head lowered as your lips quiver.

“Please take me home, Tae.” A soft whisper so quiet and broken he can feel his anger rising by the second. “Please..”

So he takes you in his arms and when you lean your head against his chest willingly, Taehyung holds in his ire, biting the inside of his cheek as he walks out the door. You’re so small, so tiny, and still trembling.

“You’re saying you care for her yet you go ahead and poison her father? That isn’t love, Kihyun, that’s obsession.” He can hear Namjoon’s low voice from the meeting room.

“You don’t understand anything about my love for Y/N.”

He scoffs at those words. “You kidnapped her, forced her away from the safety of her own home, almost killed her father, and you call this love? You’re much more foolish than I..had…”

His words trail off when Taehyung walks into the room with you in his arms and finding the way Taehyung is holding onto his anger, Namjoon and Seokjin are quick to rush over to your side.

“Y/N?” You hear the leader call your name but you’re so tired you can barely keep your eyes open.

At the sight of your trembling body, Seokjin takes his overcoat off to put it on you, only to examine you further and realize you aren’t trembling just because you’re cold, you’re trembling because of something else.

“Why is your cheek…” He touches you gently there and you flinch a little, just slightly, before eventually leaning into his kind touch, and their eyes darken. Seokjin looks up at Kihyun, anger and rage an understatement for how he’s feeling in that moment. “I told you to not touch my woman, Kihyun, yet you ignored my warning.”

Have you ever heard them so angry and on your behalf before? You don’t think so, but even in your weakened state, you can tell just how scary they are.

“Take her to the car,” you hear Namjoon tell Taehyung and as you’re led away from the scene, a gentle whisper falls into your ear among the commotion a few hallways down.

“You’re okay now. No one can hurt you ever again.”

arcade — pjs.

in which your boyfriend takes you to the arcade.

“y/n y/n y/n!! look look! they have stuffed bears in there!” jisung lights up at the sight of the multi-colored bears sitting inside the glass box.

you can’t help but laugh at how excited your boyfriend was getting. the small arcade he brought you too was packed with people—friend groups and couples alike wander around the two of you.

jisung’s fishing his pocket for the small card that allows you both to waste your time on the countless machines scattered across the small store. “just sit there and look pretty, babe!”

your boyfriend’s tongue pokes at his cheek as he stares intensely at the brown bear he was trying to take. the metal claw moves as he controls it with the knob settled outside the machine.

“go ji!” you’re smiling so much your cheeks hurt. your hand is holding your phone as you film the tall boy. “what was that?!”

he’s whining now—watching the small toy fall from the claws seemed to make his legs turn to jelly.

“let me try again.” he huffs, swiping the card to try once more.

“ji, love—it’s okay!” you can’t contain your giggles directed at the pouty boy next to you.

“but i really wanted to get that for you!” jisung whines even louder this time, both your hands filled with loads of tickets from walking around the whole arcade.

your gaze catches a small booth hidden away in the corner. a flash of recognition lights up your eyes before your jumping up and dragging jisung away.

“look look look! they have a photobooth!” he’s grinning from ear to ear as you pull him towards the cramped booth. there’s a big screen waiting for the two of you—it shows the both of you as you settle into the small bench.

“are you ready, ji?” you smile at him as you swipe the card. a robotic voice echoes around you ‘please select your camera setting and get ready for your shots!’

“where do we look?”

neither of you have any time to ask anymore questions when the loud voice starts to count down.

“oh my god! um—“ you’re giggling as you push your head against jisung’s. you’re both smiling and the first picture snaps into place.

your boyfriend’s arm reaches behind you to pull you closer to him—his face scrunches into a wink as your cheeks tint pink while you flash a shy smile at the camera.

“what do we do now?” jisung lets out a loud laugh as you both try your hardest to think of a pose on time. you barely hear the camera shutter amongst both your giggling.

you both strike a couple more poses, throwing up finger hearts and some wacky faces—but you’re now on your last picture and you’re out of ideas.

“um—what else can we do?” you’re laughing as you stare at yourself through the massive screen.

you feel jisung’s soft touch on your chin, he tugs gently so you’re looking right at him. his lips are curved in a soft smile.

and he kisses you.
