Too Sweat by Hozier is literally Angua at Carrot.
I was readi Men of Arms today, the song stuck in my head. I got to one of their scenes together. And it made sense.

Crowley and Rowena
I don't understand how some people can like Rowena but not Crowley. They're literally the same. Like mother like son sort of thing.
They were both terrible parents. I think Rowena, directly or indirectly, caused Crowley/Fergus to become an alcoholic

And they were both the sort of enemies-to-friends with the Winchesters.
And don't even get me /started/ on how they died

LIKE?????
And also, the fact neither of them can say 'i love you' or admit to caring about someone

Also, this part with Rowena where she explains why she didn't love Crowley as a child - makes no sense. Or maybe it makes perfect sense. Because after she left him, she loved a boy like her own son. Even though she swore not to love again.
Surprisingly, i've seen a lot of people favour Rowena over Crowley for what he's done.

What some fail to understand, however, is that they're so similar, they are the same character in different fonts.
Think about it - power hungry, ruled over Hell for some time, terrible parents, pretend not to care, had an affair with an angel briefly (Crowley an Cas not confirmed, but i think Crowley might have attempted to, and there's Rowena and Gabriel in case someone forgot) (and they bought flirt with Cas), also the fact they sacrificed themselves for the Winchesters even after they hated them and worked against them in the beginning... I could probably go on.

The Colour of Magic - my take
Personally, i don't get why some people think it's so difficult to understand. Sure, it's his first work and therefore not at all in the same rank as the rest, but it's still great. I will admit i was confused at times, asking myself 'why this scene?' or 'how is this important?' but it all comes together in the end, and that's what matters.
It's the first book of the series, and i think the reason it's a little all over the place is because it's Terry's first work in the series, and it has to introduce us to it.
I sort of prefer this one to some others i've read so far, and i think it's because of the rawness of the story, characters and his humour in general. In the second and third book all of that is really improved, and that makes them better in their own way. But, as they say, you never forget your first (ignoring the fact that Moving Pictures was the first of the series i read).
I also think it's genius that, just like Rincewind and some others, we're just thrown into this weird, wonderful rollercoaster of a world. Maybe it was intentional, maybe not, but i will take it as such.
Book in general: 8/10 (ya see what i did there? huh?) Characters: 6/10 could be better, but still great Humour: 9/10
