like like like. asltw(im calling her colette) is alive and is chris’ younger sister. their parents are very absent in both their lives so chris kind of acts as her caretaker, but chris is a tired mf trying to make it thru college and as a result he’s also kinda negligent.

the family moves into this depressing manor-turned-apartment on the countryside.

a very frustrated colette is left to her own devices and wishes her brother would pay more attention to her, CUE her discovery of a world on the other side of a mysterious mirror in the house, where an entity called the distortionist (disguised as a “perfect” version of Chris) lures colette into his illusion every night by promising her a perfect life in the “mirror world” (he probably has like. idk, soul trapping intentions or something)

lilia is the landlord’s kid (takes the role of wybie) and a wannabe detective, and plays a Tentative Friend role to colette, eventually helping her seal the distortionist away in the mirror world for good once his intentions are revealed

side characters such as teatime would have real world human counterparts living in different parts of the apartment, and their mirror world equivalents would be like the designs u see in canon :)))
