I love how this turned out.

Went with the option that has the most votes. I could not wait a week for results, I’m impatient. (I don’t know why I chose it to last a week) I might still draw the other one, just not as a welcome page.

"Y/n, have you seen my keys?" Edward asked, rubbing the back of his neck nervously.

He had to be at work in an hour, so he had plenty of time, but he was always a worry wart. If he was even one minute behind his schedule...he'd panic. It was nice to know he was so punctual, but sometimes it was a little dramatic. His lover didn't mind it though and they supported him.

"Did you check your pocket?" They asked, a hint of amusement in their tone.

His brows furrowed, as if it was the stupidest question on earth. He opened up his mouth, most likely to make a snarky comment, while putting his hand in his pocket. But right before he was about to speak, he felt something. Pink hues flushed over his cheeks, and he pulled out his apartment keys embarrassingly.

"Oh, um, found them..."

Y/n rolled their eyes, walking over to him with a bit of flour on the tip of their nose. They had made waffles for breakfast, feeling like doing something nice for their boyfriend. He certain appreciated it, even if they were a little burnt...

He smiled warmly as y/n wrapped their arms around his neck, getting on their tippy toes to plant a kiss on his lips. Edward could taste the strawberries from breakfast on their tongue still. It was sweet and tart, making him want more. More of y/n to be clear, not the strawberries. Though they did sound pretty delicious right about now.

"Have a good day at work, pumpkin. I know you'll do great!" They encouraged, pulling away from the kiss and straightening out his tie.

Edward quirked a brow, intrigued by the new name. They had never called him that before. It was cute, he had to admit, but he wasn't quite sure where it came from.

"Pumpkin? When did that become a thing?" He asked, brushing a strand of hair out of y/n's face.

They rolled their eyes, patting his tie after fixing it for him. He always looked so handsome in his work clothes. A white collar man, shy and timid, but a passionate lover.

"Are we really going to pretend you didn't eat that whole pumpkin pie on Thanksgiving?"

He blushed, recalling the memory very fondly. It was a nice one, though. Y/n and him and cooked a Thanksgiving meal, small enough for them, and watched the Charlie Brown Thanksgiving special. It was a very nice day, but he had a huge stomach ache afterwards. He shuddered.

"Yeah, that was a mistake. A yummy mistake, but with a bad result."

His lover chuckled, kissing the tip of his nose. He loved when they did that. He loved them. Every day he felt lucky to have them in his life. Hell, they were the reason he kept working at his stupid job. So he quickly returned the favor. He dropped his messenger bag, hearing it thud on the floor, and wrapped his arms around y/n's waist. They let out a little squeak, but it was cut off by his lips against theirs. It set off fireworks in y/n's stomach, making them melt against him. A little while later, he pulled away with plumped lips.

"I love you, baby." He cooed, using his thumb to rub their chin.

Y/n blushed deeply, feeling the heat in their cheeks. He was such a romantic.

"I love you too, pumpkin pie."

I thought I had missed the deadline, but was able to slide in and pick up an extra slot for this cool (but underrated) Pokémon! Super happy to be able to contribute to this zine, and check out the project for all the other fantastic artworks!
