Notes: This one turned out shorter than I would have liked, but I promise the next one is longer. 

Part 4

I woke up to a pair of strong arms holding me from the back. I didn’t know what time it was, but I could tell it was early. With eyes closed I turned around to face Jimin and placed my head right under his chin, wrapping my arms around him and inhaling his scent. It’s crazy how just one day apart made me miss him so much. Thinking back on the events of yesterday with Jungkook made me upset, but my husband was here so I felt much better.

I started giving him butterfly kisses on his neck, tracing them up to his jaw and then down again to his collar bone. He stirred and opened his eyes, but I didn’t stop. “Good morning baby.” He said in his husky morning voice. I traced my kisses to give him a soft peck on the lips, “Good morning love. I missed you yesterday.” Going back to his neck, I soon trailed the kisses over to his shoulder.

“I’m sorry I got home so late. And I forgot to text you when I was on my way back, sorry. I know you hate that.”

I hummed on his skin, letting him know that yes, I did hate it when he didn’t let me know when he was on his way home when he’s out late. I worried anything could happen. He tilted my chin up and looked me in the eyes, “Forgive me?”

I nodded. He then returned my kiss from earlier and softly placed his lips on mine. Backing out he gave me another look, “Baby you look so sad. Did you really miss me that much?”

I stared back at him. “Well yes… but actually I’m a little upset about something else too.”

“Oh? What about?”

“Well…” Was it a good idea to even tell him? I told him everything, there’s no secrets in our marriage. But for some reason I was hesitant. I didn’t really know how he would react. I’ve never had to tell him that someone was rough with me, and it being Jungkook I don’t know if it made it better or worse. Jimin waited patiently for my answer.

“Jungkook was just a little mean to me yesterday. I don’t think he meant it though, they were all drinking.” I whispered. I definitely sugar coated it, but at least I told him. I won’t have guilt from it. But I didn’t tell him about the time he grinded his bulge on me. I shook that little thought out of my head and focused on the conversation at hand.

His eyes narrowed a little, “How mean?”

“Mean enough to hurt my feelings, but not enough for me to hold it against him. I’m fine. It’s just you not being there yesterday probably made it seem worse than it actually was. I think that’s why I was so down.” I said as I drew circles on his chest with my finger.

He let out a sigh and tightened his arms around me, “I’m even more sorry now. I don’t want you to ever feel that way. I’ll talk to Jungkook okay?”

I nodded then proceeded to place my head under his chin again. We fell asleep for about another hour until it was decided we should get up. It was Sunday morning and Jimin wanted to make up for the fact that we couldn’t spend the day together yesterday. We started the day off by going to the gym for about two hours. Then once we were showered and freshened up we cuddled in our room and watched a few episodes of my favorite show while we waited for our dinner reservation to get closer. We went out to eat at our favorite exclusive restaurant, then went grocery shopping in a small town where we’ve (he) never had problems being recognized. We learned that it was always best to grocery shop after a meal. And also with less people. The day the whole group went shopping as hungry animals was a lesson learned for us. By the time we got home it was already 10 pm.

The guys helped us unload the groceries, because yes it was a lot of food. I mean there are eight mouths to feed. As we were finishing up I felt a pull on my sweater, “Noona, can I talk to you for a sec?” It was Jungkook and he looked like a sad little puppy. His eyes were big and looked slightly down on the floor. I knew this had to be an apology.

“Sure kook-”

“Actually I’d like to talk to you first Jungkook.” Jimin interrupted and looked straight at the younger man.

“Hyung…”

“Or you could just say what you need to say in front of me and my wife.”

Jungkook’s brow furrowed. “What’s with the aggressive attitude hyung?”

“I don’t know, call me crazy but I don’t take too kindly to people who are dicks to my wife.”

“Jimin! I told you he was a little mean not a complete dick!” He actually was, but I don’t want kookie to get in too much trouble. I’m kinda over it.

Most of the other members had left the kitchen before the whole thing started. But Jin and Hoseok were still there. “Umm… what’s going on?” Jin asked. Jungkook and Jimin were staring daggers at each other and I didn’t want a big scene to ensue. So I grabbed them both by the arms and dragged them upstairs. We stopped in the hallway when I knew no one would hear us.

“Noona all I wanted to do was apologize. I shouldn’t have grabbed you the way I did I’m sorry.” Crap.

“YOU WHAT??” Jimin had him by the collar and pushed him to the wall. I quickly went to them and tried to get Jimin to let him go. “Jimin please! It really wasn’t that bad!” I desperately tried to unclench his grasp on Jungkook, he refrained from budging but I made him look at me and pleaded with sad eyes, “Please let Kookie go.”

With that he let go of the younger and took a step back. Jungkook looked pissed, he was clenching his fists and I could tell he was holding himself back. I then turned my head to Jimin and he was just as angry. The scene that was before me, I didn’t like it. I hated it. I’ve never seen them fight before. Out of everyone in the group those two were the closest. Everyone here were like brothers, but them even more so. It was heartbreaking to see this. I shouldn’t have said anything, it was so minor now that I thought back to it. The alcohol probably made it worse too. Tears started forming on my eyes, and as much as I wanted to fight them off it was to no avail. My cheeks soon became wet and soft sniffles escaped me.

“Baby… no baby please don’t cry.” Jimin immediately went to my side and started rubbing my arms.

“It’s just… it’s not a big deal. I’m sorry I didn’t tell you the whole thing but it’s okay. A-And you guys are such good f-friends. I’ve never seen you fight like this. I hate it.” I said in between my sniffles. Jimin stayed silent and kept rubbing my arms, contemplating on where to take it from there.

“I had a lot to drink that night hyung. All I did was grab her wrist a little too tightly but like I said I’m sorry.” He then walked over to us and gave Jimin a look that asked for permission to get near me. He hesitated for a moment but then stepped back. Jungkook took a step closer and wiped some tears away with his thumb “ I’ll never do it again. I promise.” He told me in a sincere voice. I gave him a nod and he smiled a bit, stepping closer for a hug. I circled my arms around him and hugged back. This was the Kookie I knew. The sweet innocent little maknea of the group. I was so glad to hear his apology. It didn’t go by unnoticed that Jimin was close by, observing. We let go of our hug and he turned to Jimin.

“Are we okay?”

“Yeah, if she forgave you then all’s forgiven.”

I smiled at that and so did Jungkook. “You guys want to come downstairs and do some karaoke with us? Sounds like they’ve already started.” Off in the distance you could hear Namjoon singing off key with all his might. I jumped at the invitation, “Yeah let’s go!” I grabbed Jimin by the hand and dragged him downstairs, Jungkook following behind us. We ended the night on a good note. It’s always fun to hear the rap line singing songs that aren’t in their vocal range. Everything was back to normal, the situation was fixed. So then why was it that I had this nagging feeling in my gut that said otherwise? Unbeknownst to me, Jungkook sat across the room with his eyes on my husband. And if it wasn’t for Tae and Hoseok’s duet, maybe I would’ve noticed Jimin staring back.
