"latte for uh- Jam?" , you call out to the room in front of you, pretending to squint your eyes at the boy who was sitting on the lounge, fingers scrolling down a twitter page.

 the boy now standing up in front of you shook his head, amused at your words. his eyebrow shot up as his curls swished to the side. 

"Jam-ice?", you try again, now making james giggle. james smiled all gooey at you, his grin reaching his eyes and his eyes all dewey. you couldn't deny he looked so very pretty.

"haha, very funny, dove," he replies sarcastically, his arms stretching over the glass counter. he held his hand out for you to hold it and you gladly did.

"your latte?" you ask, tilting your head in confusion as he didn't ask for that yet. he shook his head softly at you and all he wanted to do was peck your soft lips right there and then.

"oh why thank you, dove," james replies, squeezing your hand gently as he took the latte in his other hand. "i needed something else though," he says.

"mhm?" you reply, already starting on another coffee for him. he shakes his head again and he slides a little note to you.

you giggle and pick up the note, reading it, mouthing the words as you do so.

'you and me tonight?' it read, with a small winky face at the end. 

you blush and use the note to hide your face. you do a little twirl and james smiles his sweet smile at you. he looked ethereal with his rosy cheeks and baby pink lips.

so you nod.

sypnosis : you have been with the marauders for so long, just to be abandoned when they found a prettier young thing but they would regret it.

there was no doubt in your mind that you loved the marauders, they were everything to you. i mean you had so many doubts when they first approached you with this idea of a relationship with them all but they convinced you that it would be amazing.

they of course did not lie because it was amazing.

james would take you to profession quidditch matches when he could, explaining to you the game even when you were completely hopeless.

remus would read to you, snuggled up on the coach in the common room by the fire, making you feel the warmth you had longed for.

sirius would touch you everywhere to show his love, nibbling on your neck just so you could feel needed, it was perfect.

everything was amazing for a year until aurora came along. she made you doubt every good thing about yourself.

the boys could not keep their eyes off of her but the reassured you that you were their one and only, that they only had eyes for you.

you of course trusted their word because they would never lie to you, i mean why would they? but you could tell they were getting jealous if one got to talk to aurora more or sit by her.

but sitting by you, they would sigh and just listen to you talk in boredom, it was really hurting your feelings.

you tried to talk to them about it but they just kept focusing on aurora, not even looking at you in the eye.

so one day, you decided that you had to talk to them or you were afraid of the possible outcome.

“remus can you please talk to me?” you sighed as he hummed, “it’s really serious.” you looked at him and he sighed, looking back at you.

“y/n, what is it?” he shut his book, annoyed.

you frowned, “why have you stopped paying attention to me? all of you?” sirius and james looked up, shocked that you had mentioned it.

“there’s just a lot going on, you aren’t the center of it all.” remus harshly snapped.

“you are so cold and bitter towards me but then auroras like a fresh new diamond to all of you and on another note, you haven’t even fucked me in a month or even came close to initiating it.” you complained.

sirius sat up, “y/n, this is getting overdramatic, we haven’t been doing that.” sirius replied.

“why are you trying to hide it? admit it, set me free and tell me you like aurora.” you added.

they all looked at eachother, "y/n, you have to understand." james said, getting up.

"no james, you are not going to be the nice one out of these two assholes." you argued, making him stop in his tracks.

remus's face softened, "i'm really sorry y/n, i have so much love for you, we all do." he tried grabbing your wrist but you took it away in a quick snap.

"are you fucking kidding me?" you start laughing while crying, "you fucking begged me to be with all of you and now that there is a new, better version of me, you are dumping me?" you felt like the room was spinning.

they were all trying to touch you in this moment, "stop moving fucking closer to me." you yelled as they all just looked at eachother, "i gave you my body, soul, and heart just for it to be shattered because i wasn't the first choice which fucking hurts if you can't tell." you cried.

james was tearing up at this point, "we love you so much." sirius said.

"you aren't in love with me so that bullshit doesn't matter." you sobbed.

"it wasn't anything you ever did, you were perfect darling." remus added, "we still want you in our life."

you were laughing as you cried, "i will never speak to any of you again for as long as i live." you spat, storming off.

this situation was about a week ago and the marauders kept looking at you and trying to talk to you but you weren't budging. i guess they still did love you. but the fucked up thing about it was that, they were still trying to talk to aurora.

whoever wasn't talking to you, was talking to aurora which stung harshly.

you were now in potions and slughorn had put you with james and you were about to blow your brains out, "hey y/n." he said shyly as you didn't speak a single syllable, "i hope you know i really miss you and watching quidditch games and how we used to yell whenever mcniver missed a point." he added.

you scoffed, simply went to go get the ingredients instead of talking to him where you were bombarded by remus who was trying to ask you what you were up to these days.

you ignored him too, going back to your seat, "you know i still love you auro-" he cut himself off in total shock.

tears were rimming your eyes as you slammed down your book, storming out of the classroom as slughorn called after you.

you went inside the girls bathroom, crying your eyes out. you still loved them all so much but it felt like they needed you to pass their guilt.

you heard the door open as you looked next to you to see aurora who had creeped up to you, "slughorn asked me to check on you."

"why you?" you asked, snapping at her as you looked down.

her mouth agaped, "i don't really know but i do still care, i may not know what's wrong but-"

you cut her off, "you don't know so you can just fuck off." you spat, looking at her.

her frown didn't falter, "is it them?" she asked.

"who's them?" you sarcastically replied.

"the marauders." she said, moving closer to you.

"it's really none of your business." you fumed.

"i noticed they started paying more attention to me, lily told me that all of you were inseperable." aurora explained.

"okay fine, they love you obviously and dumped me." tears were now streaming down your cheeks.

"i don't love them." aurora held your head up as you looked confused as she kissed you.

you were deeply confused on what was going on, i mean it certainly was a very confusing situation as you backed up in total shock, "oh i'm sorry." aurora said, running out.

well this certainly just got confusing.
