1) Take your date to an animal shelter and pet cats/dogs together.

2) Go to a local park or arboretum. Typically free. You can pack a picnic for a few extra dollars and win extra romance points.

3) Go to their favorite bookshop/library with seating, and read one of your significant other’s favorite books to them. Trade off reading if one of you gets tired.

4) Look up some DIYs related to a shared interest and plan a craft day. Example: DIY Harry Potter wands using wooden chopsticks, hot glue, and paint

5) See if there is a Shakespeare in the Park near you. These are typically free.

6) Look up local library or community events that you both might enjoy. These typically are very cheap to nothing and can be fun.

It can be difficult to choose where to take your date, especially when your bank account is loving you at the moment. Here’s a few ideas that could solve this problamo!

1. A cafe ~ The most this date is going to cost is like $10, pick a cute place with chill music and yummy desserts you could possibly share!

2. Binge watch Netflix ~ picture blankets, popcorn, and cuddles. The original Netflix and chill.

3. Gaming ~ FIFA, C.O.D, guitar hero, Mario kart, whatever it is, its cheap AF and you will totally have bragging rights forever if you win!!

4. Biking ~ dust off the BMX you’ve had in the garage forever and ride around town together. Completely free and a ton of fun!

5. Swimming ~ if its warm enough, hit up the pool or the beach. It’s 100% free (thank you Mother Nature) and you get to see a whole lotta skin (also thank you Mother Nature).

6. Star-gazing ~ firstly, how romantic! Cuddling is the perfect time to cuddle up and relax, and to also give your bank account the night off.

7. A walk ~ the simplest of things, but one of my all time favourites. 

8. Picnic ~ its pretty easy to knock up a few sandwiches and drinks! Relatively inexpensive and totally adorable.
