I’m not here to teach (or educate) anything to anyone but only as a reminder about the benefits of nature which, has its own limits. Wilderness cleans our air, filters our water and provides home for human as well as for wildlife. So it is crucial for humanity, which is already to blame, to bring radical changes today before it’s entire extinction tomorrow. That is my only intention here folks. 07:03 in the morning after a stormy night. These Blues Jays are always hungry and also very wet. The last one seems very intrigued about the new 1080 wifi camera. He will get use to it.

Wolfbane Flower?
I'm not an expert in wild flowers but these look like the wolfbane ones who's most species are extremely poisonous and must be dealt with, very carefully. They are also native to the mountainous parts of the Northern Hemisphere which we are in so, just taking pictures for now.

Who can possibly know the smell of a Northern Raven? Well I just found out this morning.
Some Northern Ravens came this morning for breakfast, as usual, around 05:30. As soon as they finished eating, these 3 big guys decided to take a break on that big, more or less, 80 feet dead spruce and cleaned up themselves a bit. We were sitting near the bay window eating our breakfast too and watching them. Just beautiful. Later on while taking a walk outside, I found these 5 feathers left on the ground.
After all that time expanding my feathers collection, the idea of smelling one of them never occurred to me. Weird… not even my dog. So, we did it for the first time and realized that these feathers smell like, an amazing ¨méchoui¨ roasted outside over a wood fire or even like some kind of aromatic incense fragrant smoke like, ¨Nuit d’Opium¨.
What a Great Discovery!

Singing on a tree on this beautiful foggy morning, while waiting daddy to come back home and bring breakfast. So cute.
This is the breakfast for our big friends the Northern Ravens. Another rough Canadian winter season is approaching and food is getting rare on the side of the roads, so, we’re give them a hand with more protein. Fresh pork liver sliced and chicken egg. They’re just really loving it.
