This looked like fun and it's something to get me posting again!

What is your goal for your craft this week?

My goal for my craft this week is do something about the negative energy affecting me in my apartment, with the moon waning and leading up to the New Moon, I will make a plan to salt the corners of each room, burn sage or cinnamon incense, and place sigils.

2. What herbs do you feel most connected? Why?

This is a difficult question for me to answer but I would say the herb that I use the most and connect with is lavender. I love the healing and relaxation properties it has. I like to place lavender in my tea at night to help me sleep, I love to wear lavender scented fragrances and sprays as it helps me remain clear minded throughout my day in the stressful work environment I encounter.

3. Have you researched anything new recently?

I have been going over some of the basic history of witchcraft as of late as I don't believe I touched on it long enough in the past.

4. What would you like to research soon?

I have a wide variety of areas that I would soon like to research including shadow working, scrying, Celtic witchcraft, Druidry, and would also like to touch a little on my Slavic heritage and what the Slovene people had done in the past.

5. What spellwork, if any, have you done recently? Did it work?

I have the worst time sleeping and, as of late, barely remember my dreams upon waking. Some spellwork I have recently done is as simple as meditation down to the way I lay in my bed and the focusing my mind on the meditation itself to help get well rested and to remember my dreams. Since this month has been wearing on me, I may perform my dream charm bag spell again, as it worked a very long time up until I lost it in the move last year.

6. If it didn't, why do you think so? What do you think you would do differently if you tried again?

With this meditation I perform, I often times don't complete the full meditation and just fall asleep, feeling my body suddenly relax and then I jerk back awake. I would do something differently by adding different components to my tea before bed and probably find a different position to lay or may even try sitting up so I don't fall asleep during the meditation.

April 2023 Tarot Reading

If this month isn't meant for creating goals, I don't know what other month it would be. 

The major arcana of The Chariot is driving forward and does not care who or what is in the way, Cruella gets what she wants there's no doubt about it. The obstacles that may come up this month may seem daunting at first but there is always a way around them when you think outside of the box. Don't let yourself down when things get difficult, instead look at it with a sense of opportunity.

The minor arcana, the Knight of Swords, is another force to be reckoned with. Percival McLeach is the embodiment of wants versus needs. McLeach wants every endangered species in his collection but it also doesn't mean he needs them. Think about your wants versus needs, what drives you forward this month that you really want but don't necessarily need? And what needs do you think needs to be tended? There may be several opportunities to reach your goals but this is what you want when there could be several opportunities to spend that extra five minutes tending to your personal growth and mental health as your need. Find a balance and routine that works for you! Don't let mental health drag your goals down as mental health and personal growth will always be on your list of goals whether short or long term.

Hello and welcome all beautiful creatures! I wanted to make an official introduction for my blog here on Tumblr and introduce myself properly :)

About Me:

You can call me RaveMey, or just Rave for short, I am a Virgo and love the colors green, pastel pink, and lavender. I love tea, coffee, and good-for-you food. I am an artist and love to paint, draw, create, anything to do with the arts, I even love to sing! I enjoy outdoor activities and hanging out with people when my "social battery" isn't low. I work full-time in retail loss prevention and spend the rest of time doing hobbies.

I identify as an eclectic practitioner and am still learning more about other traditions that I may want to incorporate into my path. I have been practicing for a little over 10 years and am well versed in the basics. I continue to learn through online classes and hope to get into more focused teachings soon. I specialize in healing and protective magick but also love to use small spells and charms for dreams as I love to utilize dream interpretation for a sort of shadow work to look into what things I can improve on in my daily life and to help me lead a positive outlook mentally and physically.

I am what you would call a "one man band" as I do everything here myself and create everything myself. So patience is very much appreciated while I still try to establish myself here and on other platforms :)
