So the way I played this is I played through Dusk for a while until the next Union Quest, then Dawn over the same parts. So there’s a lot of things I did in Dusk that I didn’t in Dawn, because my brain went “oh yup I’ve already gone through those NPCs, I don’t need to hit them up again,” and that’s also why I didn’t have shots of my post-virus party at this point in Dawn, because I didn’t think to check.

So you’d think after naming something in Dusk “Island Island”, I’d have had quite some time to think of a good name for the island in Dawn.

Instead I went with an old joke,

Pen Island. Penisland.

This reminds me something worse that I’ve thought of, if Sparkster ever gets to join Smash, just imagine rather than making him mute like Pac-Man, Mega Man, Olimar, and Isabelle, either giving him a voice actor/actress, or reusing the sounds he makes in RKA but remastered(?) They resort to giving him realistic opossum noises, similar to how Donkey Kong, Diddy Kong, Bowser, and King K. Rool have realistic animal sounds.

Oh gawn if that’ll happen, but IF he actually gets in (which is unlikely) high chances they’ll make him mute or use those sounds from RKA.

Thinking about this, I felt like this is a deleted scene where he finally snapped out of the Dark Ring’s control when he came to a realization from remembering the group photo, then it would’ve shown this shot of him.

Andromon was one of my favorite designs from the first season of Digimon. I found these… timing sheets? (drawings used in the process of animating him) featuring the character on Yahoo! Japan Auctions in 2006, though I’m unsure if they’re from his appearance in Digimon Adventure or Digimon 02. He did get possessed by evil in both of ‘em, right?

I’ve always thought of Kotemon being as a sort of Cyborg Digimon, maybe cause of Dusk/Dawn still kept him as a machine species digimon there, in a way, I guess it’s the armor, hidden face, and the legs and tail can be somewhat seen as “organic” components that haven’t been mechanized yet like in a similar way to Andromon.

The only cyborg digimon I know of that’s a Rookie level is Kamemon, there’s isn’t any Rookies out there who are cyborgs as I can tell...
