Slasher fans are like “this is my poor little meow meow, Screwdriver Elbow. his real name is timothy asspunk and he killed 17 women because his dad called him gay. He’s from the movie “Hot sexy college camp” that came out in 1643. I desire him carnally.”

More Posts from R3d-d34th
this book is freaking MADE of parallels.
The forehead marks on Dracula and Mina.
Two John’s paired with enigmatic foreigners
Renfield playing with his insects planning to eat them, Dracula doing the same to Johnathan.
3 women in Dracula’s castle, 3 men following Vanhellsing. ( THE FUCKING KISS SCENE WHERE ART SAYS GOODBYE TO LUCY AND VANHELLSING GRABS HIM AND THROWS HIM BACK JUST LIKE DRACULA DID WITH THE WOMAN WHO TRIED TO FEED ON JOHNATHAN- THE PLACEMENT OF THE CHARACTERS IN THAT SCENE, EVEN THE DESCRIPTORS USED, ITS ALL THE SAME!!!!)
There are more that I’m forgetting but the point is that the little details in this book drive me insane.
ok spoilers under the cut but I was thinking about the placement of the gash Jon gave to Dracula w/ the shovel and...
it's the same place Mina is burned after she semi-turns later; on the forehead 👀.
I'm gonna make a post with all of the 'stick figure violence' adjacent images I have. if anyone knows any similar ones I'm missing PLEASE SEND ME THEM. I have an unhealthy obsession with them.

I’m conflicted about Dracula Daily because on one hand it’s cool that people are FINALLY getting into the source material but on the other hand I’m kinda miffed.
Like, will you ONLY read books when they’re spoon fed to you in little chunks? “Zoom zoom here comes the airplane with part of a book I didn’t write, open wide. “
I’m fully aware that it’s a stupid thing to be annoyed about, the concept in and of itself is cool, and it’s easier for people who might be overwhelmed by the size of the book. It SHOULD be something I’m happy about. But I’m not.
I’m so frustrated; I’m pissed off by Dracula Daily and I don’t know wHY!!!!
Watership Down is the secret template for all Zombie survival stories and I want someone to try and prove me wrong

I can’t be the only one making these connections, right? The entirety of Walking Dead reminds me so much of all the variations of Watership Down: a group traveling desperately in search of a safe home, only to be stopped or challenged by their own kind. By another group of people that shouldn’t be fighting.
Let me know what you guys think! I’d love to hear your thoughts! If you want me to make more parallels, just let me know. It was fun making these!
I have a feeling that the euphoria of getting new emails from our friend Johnathan Harker is gonna be the only thing that get’s me through final’s week ngl.
