imagine if there was this guy you had a crush on and you made out one time and then immediately after that he ditched you for his maybe-ex and then like a week later you're out on the town and you hear someone call your name and it's your crush, his maybe-ex, and this girl who may or may not be his maybe-ex's girlfriend (she's the one who called your name btw) and you run away because you can't handle this right now but the maybe-ex and their girlfriend(?) find you and first of all it turns out the maybe-ex isn’t really an ex at all and they’re still sort of dating your crush and second of all the not-ex says to you “listen i know things ended bad but it wasn't what it looked like he rlly likes you" and offers to set you up with your crush. and you say yes. and then you go on a date with your crush which sort turns into a bigger date with his not-ex and the not-ex’s girlfriend but then the guy they all work for crashes your date and starts a fight with you. what would you do.
Still deep in OFMD brainrot in case anyone was wondering about me, and I was looking at overarching themes for the season when I stumbled on this:
Season 1 said “Don’t act on your fear.”
Season 2 said “So you fucked up and acted on your fear.”
Then season 2 followed up with “Now, start acting on your love instead.”

Pilot: In 1717, pampered aristocrat Stede Bonnet experiences a midlife crisis and decides to become a pirate, however, Stede quickly learns that a pirate's life isn't for everybody.
Impossible Birds: While Stede adjusts to his new normal, a heartbroken Blackbeard fills the void with daily raids, sparking concern amongst Izzy and the crew.
Here Dragons Be/The Art of Fuckery: Inspired by Blackbeard's words of wisdom, Stede enlists the Revenge's crew to help him intimidate an incoming merchant ship. After Izzy confronts him about his growing attachment to Stede, Blackbeard struggles to do what must be done. Lucius's flesh wound spirals out of control.
A Damned Man: Stede battles with guilt over recent events while hunting for missing hostages; Lucius makes a surprising discovery.
Discomfort in a Married State: As the threat of attack looms, Blackbeard and Stede finally meet, and Jim fields questions from an overly curious crew.
The Innkeeper: When Zheng takes control of the Revenge, the crew are finally reunited; Stede desperately seeks Blackbeard, who must make a life-or-death decision.
Fun and Games: Blackbeard encounters some dysfunctional old acquaintances onshore. Stede and Blackbeard must decide how to move forward.
Act of Grace: At the mercy of Chauncy and the British, Stede and Blackbeard renounce their pirating ways in a desperate attempt to escape execution.
The Best Revenge is Dressing Well: Blackbeard and Stede attend a fancy party, Oluwande and Frenchie embrace false identities, and Izzy and Lucius go head-to-head.
