but it's about Hazel sacrificing herself, her life, her mother only for gaea to still be awaking when Hazel comes back

but it's Percy, Annabeth, Grover and every other demigod that fought in the first war when another starts

but it's Thalia after losing yet another loved one

but it's Sally because she knows that Percy isn't going to have a long and happy life because most demigods especially those of the big three aren't allowed to have those

but it's Jason after doing everything he can to make everyone happy and try and find a purpose even after Hera took his with his memories and he still ended up dying

What to do if you suddenly find yourself homeless

FOOD

Find your nearest food bank or mission, for food

grocery stores with free samples, bakeries + stores with day-old bread

different fast food outlets have cheaper food and will generally let you hang out for a while.

some dollar stores carry food like cans of beans or fruit

SHELTER

Sleeping at beaches during the day is a good way to avoid suspicion and harassment

sleep with your bag strapped to you, so someone can’t steal it

Some churches offer short term residence

Find your nearest homeless shelter

Look for places that are open to the public

A large dumpster near a wall can often be moved so that flipping up the lids creates an angled shelter to stay dry

HYGIENE

A membership to the YMCA is usually only 10$, which has a shower, and sometimes laundry machines and lockers.

Public libraries have bathrooms you can use

Dollar stores carry low-end soaps and deodorant etc.

Wet wipes are all purpose and a life saver

Local beaches, go for a quick swim

Some truck stops have showers you can pay for

Staying clean is the best way to prevent disease, and potentially get a job to get back on your feet

Pack 7 pairs of socks/undies, 2 outfits, and one hooded rain jacket

OTHER

a travel alarm clock or watch

mylar emergency blanket

a backpack is a must

downgrade your cellphone to a pay as you go with top-up cards

Hi, I'm writing to you because I know you hold nothing against the LGBTQ. My name is B. A closeted lesbian who's looking to come out to her family this month. In my almost two years of existence on this blog, I've read different “coming out stories” which has been a whole motivation to me- I hereby set a day in mind, to come out to my family. However things took a turn as my mom who i thought would be free of her ovarian cancer by said date developed a kidney problem just after ovarian cancer- she means the whole world to me and her acceptance is what I yearn for with my coming out. She has always said we should allow her die and has been unmotivated about life until her birthday few weeks ago (sept 11) where a whole lot of people on this app sent their good wishes, drawings, and words of encouragement to her. We turned everything sent into a blanket for her and she's been wrapping herself with the love she received- she wants to live again and fight for the sake of strangers who believed in her(so she said). The medical personnel admits it is the best time to have her surgery (Ureteral Stent Placement surgery) because she has the right mood and mindset. Unfortunately for us, we are 500$ away from getting her surgery, it’s almost a month after her birthday and her fighting spirit is dying- I also can't come out to a dying mother- I need her to be fine before my coming out date(20th Oct). We've created a crowdfunding link for her but we've only raised 20$ of 500$. Would you please help not only my mom but my coming out plan by donating whatever you can spare for my mom's surgery? "Hazel is so underrated" "Jason is so underrated" Y'know who actually is underrated? FRANK. ZHANG. He was one of the main pov's in THREE of the HoO books (SoN, MoA, HoH) and yet I never see anyone talk about him (Even in the series he's so underrated, like I think the only people that acknowledged that he's powerful asf is Jason and Percy)

Demigods cussing (duh) and having go-to/favorite swears lol

Piper gets to call Drew a bitch

The one scene with Annabeth and Percy sneaking around the ship being more suggestive

Leo being sus about festus and other machines as a background joke

Myth related exclaimations having cuss words in them for more punch

Jason calling Percy "Percy Jackoff" during that period in MoA when he was bitter about the Kansas incident

Jokes about how weird it is that Frank and Leo are attracted to a 13 year old

Teenager accurate dirty jokes mostly made by Piper and Leo and then they snicker at each other

Demigods' reactions as american teens seeing topless people on European beaches on the voyage lol

A "your mom" joke leading to Annabeth giving an infodump about oedipus

Leo making a joke that's so obnoxiously suggestive that Hazel doesn't get it and she's like "what does that mean" and everyones like "yeah leo u should explain 😃" and he goes bright red and is either forced to explain his dumbass joke or chickens out liek "nah I'm okay"

Is this even an interesting topic I don't know lmao
