Regarding Rick In The Cult, Something That Might Be Interesting In That Context Is A Cut Scene Pelo Mentioned

Regarding Rick in the cult, something that might be interesting in that context is a cut scene Pelo mentioned for SM4 -- there was supposed to be a scene before Skid and Pump leave the theater and ask Radford where the doll went, with Rick being completely absent

Now obviously he left because he quit, but it's convenient he's absent when the two come in to ask about a possessed doll

Oh my Eyes, thanks for this info! I vaguely remember seeing something about that scene but forgot Rick wasn't in it. Another example of Rick's presence within scenes being weirdly specific.

Really curios to see him in SM6, especially since we'll likely get his first on-screen interaction with John and Jack. I think the way he interacts with them will have a major impact on how likely this theory is.

That could've worked, also maybe ditch Crim's homophobia/biphobia and just make him resent Moxxie for relying on weapons.

Then, later, during the climax, Moxxie takes out most of his dad's goons when one manages to knocks his weapon away, which is when Millie joins in and this makes Moxxie realizes that he should at least try to improve in hand-to-hand. This would explain how he was able to take out the random biker gang in Western Energy, which always felt weird to me, like we missed something telling us that Mox didn't want to just rely on weapons.

Maybe make it a point that Moxxie is the one to spare Crimson, simply to not give him the satisfaction of the last thing he sees being his son being as raging and ruthless as he is.

Fixing this show's issues is so easy, fixing a problem gives you the perfect setup to fix two or three more, almost like you're reverse engineering how it was fucked up in the first place.

And now, by literally no one's demand, Another Reason Why Crimson Doesn't Quite Work!

So you know the song and dance about Moxxie always being called fat, but did you know what Crim looked like in the beat boards?

And Now, By Literally No One's Demand, Another Reason Why Crimson Doesn't Quite Work!
And Now, By Literally No One's Demand, Another Reason Why Crimson Doesn't Quite Work!

A hairy, hulking brute with a more modern fashion sense. This design makes him feel powerful, an active and competent threat. Also notice that Alessio, his bodyguard, seemingly didn't exist yet and weapons were a more prominent motif in his house at this point in production.

But Spindlehorse didn't go with this design, they made him a slightly taller version of his son, who is constantly mocked for his "weight", might I ad, with thicker legs and gave him a bodyguard. They made him a "fatter" pretentious blowhard who needs his cronies to do everything for him.

Maybe this is more weird fatphobia from Spindlehorse, or maybe this was just done to justify him hiring Striker in Oops. Hell, maybe the Crim and Chaz stories were originally 2 different episodes, that would actually explain a lot about the final product. Either way, I we confident that the original version of Crimson Knolastname would have been a much stronger villain, both figuratively and literally.

Look at Blitz smiling obliviously, he’s so cute and silly as always. It’s kinda weird in hindsight that they didn’t just have Loona call in sick or something her absence wasn’t really explained. I know the VA was on break but the writers didnt come up with anything for it.

Ughh it bothers me so much to hear all the potential creativity and original ideas/stories we could’ve had. So many creative minds on the team and it all gets drafted to be a sausage party episode with funnee fuck jokes~

He’s way better there. Sans stache because everyone seems to have the same stache as Striker and he’s better original. I still feel like he’s unnecessary. Moxie was born in wrath grew up in wrath and both his parents were still alive originally, so rewriting his story is really stupid. I actually don’t even know why Crimson couldn’t be a wrath ring imp mafia. Why greed?

The concept probably didn’t have the creepy and ridiculous ‘forced gay marriage’ plot either. That was so incredibly stupid and senseless. That said I really enjoyed most of the episode, the setting was really cool, the green saturated colors and dark lighting were really threatening. But it had to go and make this all about penises…I’m embarrassed that I watch this show sometimes.

I honestly cant comment on the weight thing, I don’t really see the point being made there.

Rick might be a cultist

Rick Might Be A Cultist

With how much discussion there is around potential cultists in the fandom, I'm honestly surprised by how little consideration goes to this idea but I can't hold it in anymore, I think Rick is a cultist.

Yes, I am genuinely convinced that Rick motherfucking Hedony is in with the bad guys and I have several reasons for saying so.

One that started as a bit of a joke but became more convincing to me over time, despite being apathetic enough to constantly quit jobs, Rick doesn't seem to have any trouble getting new ones, this seems insignificant, but is more substantial when you take something else into account.

That something being what Rick does in TT, he leaves when he sees Bob but stays behind the store. At least to me, it reads like he knows Bob won't go after him since their both cultists and is just waiting for Kevin and the boys to get killed, this also explains his awkward attempt at small talk with Kevin, he wasn't expecting him to survive.

If he is indeed a member of the cult then he likely wouldn't have trouble getting other cultist to pull some strings and get him jobs that pay at least somewhat reasonably. It'd be hard for a prospective boss to turn you down if you're helping them take over the world.

I also find it interesting that we don't see his reaction to the Dexter Fella in episode 4, probably nothing, but interesting to think about. I know I'll be keeping my eyes peeled for his potential reaction to any supernatural goings on in episode 6.

Lastly, if Rick really is a lower level member of the cult, it's possible that seeing Eyes, or something else his mind wasn't ready to handle, broke him and that's why he's as emotionally vacant as he is.

If anyone has any corrections, additional pieces of evidence, or general thoughts on this theory, I'd be more than happy to hear you out.

Honestly the show lost me on Ozzie x fizz (as well as stolitz had everything from circus onwards not killed it it for me) when bee and Tex were revealed to be a thing, not only that, but happily and proudly in a relationship, which means Ozzie (And by extension Stolas) should have nothing to fear from Mammon or Stella respectively

Honestly Both Stolas and Ozzie should sod off, Blitz and Fizz deserve to be together, as do Mammon and Stella

I think the thing with Ozzie is that as the Sin of Lust, he's supposed to stay out of formal relationships so being with Fizz might contradict his duties. Whilst Stolas is mostly (and rightfully) in trouble for cheating on his wife (yes, it does count as cheating even though you were arranged, you gangly, feathery jizz-rag) and loaning a goetic artifact out to an imp. Bee's relationship with Tex doesn't negatively impact her performance as Sin of Gluttony and their isn't any m'guffin loaning going on, so they shouldn't have any problems.

While there is some questionable stuff involved in Fizzrozzie, most of it is not that serious and Fizz has two hands.

Stolas on the other hand, deserves to have his balls cut off and blended and then he should be forced to drink his own ball smoothie.

Glad you've joined the Golden Goose bandwagon, they're both awesome and are even more awesome together. Definitely have plans for more Mam x Stella stuff.

To clarify, I love Mammon as is, but part of that is that despite fitting the scummy producer stereotype and being a fun villain, he still undeniably has depth and nuances, we just don't see them in detail because his debut stars someone he's very toxic to.

I doubt Mam will be given the focus that properly exploring those complexities would require, and am slightly frustrated that not a single moment is given to properly address the nuances of his character in the special that bares his name.

Never the less, I still consider him to be not just the best character in season 2, but the best character in the whole franchise.

ALL HAIL MAMMON!

The two biggest songs from Mammons is two girls saying bitch over and over and the other is a guy saying fuck over and over

This really is a show for edgy teens…

I have a theory that the plot of the episode will have another demon come to town looking for Moloch, explaining how both Patty and Gregor get possessed and also prevent Pelo from breaking his rule about not having a character (Moloch) be the big bad of more than one episode.

In case you haven't figured it out, I think Elusive will voice the new demon. (This also might explain his post about Pelo knowing that the new episode is going to cause a lot of shipping, since they both knew Moloch x new demon would be popular).
