Crunch. 

Hyunjae eyed at you, waiting for you to notice him. He popped another potato chip in his mouth, making sure to slowly bite the chip. 

Another crunch. 

This time you turned a slight fraction to face him, your gaze clearly telling him to stop horsing around. You two were currently seated on the sofa, sheets of the project work you were working on strewn around you. Deciding to test your limits, he reached over to the side of the table, grabbing the cold soda he bought earlier that day. 

“Listen.” He whispered next to your ear before pulling on the tab. The oh-so-satisfying sound of the fizzy soda resounded and Hyunjae tried to contain a bout of giggles. “Hyunjae, stop.” He ignored you as he took a swig of the cherry soda, gulping loudly. He grinned when he got the reaction he desired; You shivered before raising a single eyebrow, “I’m going to move into the room if you keep eating.” 

“You promised to spend time with me! We were going to play League of Legends!” Hyunjae continued the ASMR experience, talking in hushed tones. “Y-You...better stop!” He liked how flustered you were. You are a big fan of mukbang, especially the AMSR ones. Hyunjae wasn’t a professional, but he could always try. Plus he was your boyfriend after all; that gave him brownie points. 

“I won’t stop.” He crunched on another chip, grinning as he did. He saw your resolve crumble. Leaning into you, his arms snaked around your waist and pulled you into his embrace, “This work isn’t even due in a month. Surely you can spend some time with your oppa?” He bopped your nose, smirking at how your eyes already gave in. You let out a sigh and relented, “Let me clear this up then we can start.” 

“Finally!”

b) 91. "Hey, can I borrow a kiss? I’ll be sure to return it to you." - hyunjin

With Kkami in his hands, he approached you quietly from behind. “Boo!” He grinned cheekily when he saw his desired reaction from you. You had jumped up, arms held in a defensive position, only to realize it was just him. He felt his heart flutter when your whole demeanor changed and a smile graced your face.

“Hyunjin! Oh, hi Kkami!” He put his dog down and the two of you sat down on your mat to pet Kkami. It was a pretty windy day at the beach, the breeze tousling his hair non-stop. “Kkami is so cute! I swear, I would steal him from you one day.” Kkami was wagging its tail, happily yipping in your arms. “We raised this little pupper. Aren’t we right?” Hyungjin reached out to pet Kkami, looking up at you. You giggled when Kkami rolled around when you circled your index finger and Hyunjin internally gushes at how adorable you are.

“Hey! I thought you were going to spend time with me today! Kkami’s getting all the attention.” “I see you almost every day since we have the same subject combination and we also study together after school, no?” Despite that, Hyunjin would terribly miss you when the two of you weren’t together. You two were practically joined by the hip, but Hyunjin had started falling in love with you ever since the beginning.

“Are you okay? You were zoning out there.” You extend your hand to ruffle his hair and he felt his face heat up. You let out a yawn and lay down on the mat, folding your arms to support your head, but failing to lie down in a comfortable position. “Here, let me.” Hyunjin removed his coat and folded it so that it was a big pillow for both of you. “I like the fact that we have time to bask in the sun.” Hyunjin chuckled when you sighed contentedly, occasionally petting Kkami.

You adjusted yourself so that you were facing the brilliant blue sky and Hyunjin did the same, inching closer to you. “It’s nice spending time with you.” Hyunjin heard you hum in agreement. “Whenever I’m with you it feels like all my worries disappear.” He mustered up his courage,” Hey, can I borrow a kiss? I’ll be sure to return it.” He propped himself up and you turned your head to face him. Before you could even react, he leaned in a pressed a kiss on your lips, eliciting a small gasp from you.

“W-what was that?” “A kiss!” He pecked your lips again, “I’ve returned it to you now.” He smiled at your flustered look, your face pink as you sat up. You hit him and hid your face after that.

“Ya! Hwang Hyunjin! I—”

“I love you!”

And there you were. Sungchan cast his gaze towards you, his heart clenching tightly. Unconsciously, he fingered the lucky charm bracelet you gave him when you two first met. He stood rooted to the ground as you squeezed through the growing crowd, making your way to him. The audience milling around the bleachers were insanely loud, but all he could hear was his heartbeat thumping wildly. 

“Sungchan.” His name sounded really nice coming from your lips. “You’re here.” It felt as if the air had been knocked out of his lungs. “Why wouldn’t I be here? I promised to cheer you on.” You leaned against the barrier, a smile playing on your lips. His baseball cap was snuggly fitted on your head and his windbreaker engulfing you. 

Time seemed to stop as Sungchan stared at you, remembering the promise you two had pinkie swore on.

“Promise me that you’ll be at the bleachers to cheer me on for my last game!” Sungchan held out his pinkie. “What do you mean by your last game? Aren’t you going to be a national soccer player?” You cocked your head, confusion written all over your face. 

“I signed on to be a trainee at SM. And I got accepted!” Sungchan made sure you were the first person to know after his parents. “I’m so happy for you!” You dived into his embrace and he hugged you back tightly, relishing your warmth. However you pulled away, a pout evident on your face, “I don’t know if my parents will allow me. They never allowed me to go to any of your matches.” 

Your parents were strict in their upbringing, and despite Sungchan being your closest friend, they didn’t let you go, claiming that spending too much time with friends was a “waste of time”. Nevertheless, Sungchan was always over at your house under the pretense to be tutored by you. 

“Then...it’s okay! I’ll share my victory with you when I see you again!” “Sungchan! Your parents are here!” Your parents called out. You locked eyes with him, but Sungchan could tell how unhappy you were. Holding your hand, he assured you, “Whatever the situation, I just want you to cheer for me. Promise?” 

“That I can promise.”

“I snuck out of the house today. Don’t ask how I did that, I just did.” You shrugged, continuing “So, do you like this surprise?” Sungchan moved his hand to his chest, to calm down the erratic beating of his heart. “I...absolutely love it.” “Players, please get ready at the field!” 

“Sungchan! All the best!” Your eye-smile was too cute. He stepped forward, but immediately spun back to you and easily climbed up the platform, he tugged your arm and kissed your full on the lips. Holding on to the barrier, he moved back to gauge your reaction, happy to see that he made you flustered. 

“Watch me, I’ll bring back the gold trophy, my lucky charm.”
