Hello dear, yes there are steps. The first and foremost is to remove yourself from stressors. If it is a person or environment that caused it, or you are further stressed by people being around, move to a safer location for you mentally. There is no universal way that works for everyone, but here are a few that I know:

1. Take in breaths like this: inhale counting to 6, exhale counting to seven. Inhale to 6, exhale to 7. Repeat, focus on even breathing.

2. Look at your surroundings. List out 5 things you can see, 4 things you can hear, 3 things you can touch, 2 things you can smell, 1 things you can taste. That helps you focus on your surroundings and ground yourself instead of focusing on your panic.

3. Try to talk to yourself and explain a treasured memory. Maybe a favorite scene of a show, or an inside joke with friends. It puts your mind elsewhere, to things that make you happy.

I had a very timeloopy dream

Basically

Charles stuck in time a cursed cave and doesn't age but the world around him moves without him

Then a 20sthm lydia comes in but doesn't recognize him and thinks he is a ghost

She leaves and Charles remains trapped

30 years later, lydia returns crying cuz she realized who Charles was and also by this time Charles was also outside of the cave (I'll explain you'll see) and that Charles died

Lydia pulls him out and before she can do anything he dissappears and reapears on the exact moment of time before he got stuck(hence, charles actually didn't go on the news as missing), but he can ser his own siluete in the cave, for ever stuck in time.

WOAAAH. Looks like Raine got hit with the dream curse!
