The Entitlement On This Site Is UNREAL. I Cannot Believe The Amount Of People Who Are Like Staff SUCKS

The entitlement on this site is UNREAL. I cannot believe the amount of people who are like “staff SUCKS why does anyone even LIKE THIS SITE” over a few gene changes on Fathom F wings. Please just leave if you’re going to have this attitude, for everyone else’s sake. You definitely won’t find anything like Flight Rising anywhere that doesn’t suck ass or finds every opportunity to beg you for money, but just go! You don’t have to stay just to keep whining! 

There is no other pet site with this quality of art, with this consistent amount of updates, with staff that actually interacts and listens to the community, even if they sometimes aren’t 100% perfect at communication. And let’s keep in mind that while prices have gone up in almost every aspect of life, FR’s prices have not changed in 11 years. 

And also, if the Fathom F changes are really so appalling to you, just breed change the Fathoms you no longer like. They’re moderns! You can do that! You could even get a silhouette scroll if you prefer how they look as males. And just have other breeds in your lair that you like more! This site gives you so many options, you can EASILY work around a single decision you don’t like. 

The amount of whiny brats who lose their minds over such small changes is mind-blowing. Maybe it’s because I have been involved in games that truly couldn’t give a single fuck about community feedback and make more and more excuses to cost you more money every week, but we have it GOOD on Flight Rising. If you can’t keep your cool over something like this, you 1. need to grow the fuck up and 2. should just leave so we don’t have to see your shitty attitude. 

I just reada really good fic but halfway through I realized "oh shit this is really familiar.... didn't I write something like this once?" And as I kept reading I kept predicting what happened next and the further I went the more convinced I was that they'd ripped off my story-

like, copied the ENTIRE plot and re-written it, just better than I had? The characters were more fleshed-out than mine were, and the POV was more interesting, and the pace made more sense- but it was MY STORY?

So close to the end I was like "holy shit.. do I message them? Ask if my story inspired theirs? Should I be angry? Flattered?" Cause their tags and description didn't mention me AT ALL, which, sure, it's fanfiction to begin with, but if you're using my work than at least credit me as inspo, right? Just to be courteous?

But I get to the end of the final chapter, and it's not finished, and I'm kind of disappointed cause I never finished my story and I was really immersed in their version now and had been looking forwards to seeing how they tied up my loose ends- so I scroll to the bottom to leave a comment, and.
