I woke up in the middle of the night and suddenly felt compelled to go to my window and pray to the moon. The moon was full, and it was bigger than normal. It's so weird how in this country children are expected to face the burdens of adulthood and be ok with having none of the rights of adulthood.

Even if Minimum wage jobs were just for teenagers that wouldn't justify such low wages. Call me crazy but if a child can work like an adult and puts in the amount of effort and responsibility of an adult and is expected to work as intensely as an adult would. you can homeschool, you can become a apprentice, you can learn well anything you want online now! You can call up a local science teacher and ask them to tutor you, HELL! do whatever it takes to keep your life and your love for knowledge.

school sucks, I know too many people to say otherwise. Your feelings are valid you ARE NOT A FAILURE for not doing amazing at your homework or at school fuck anyone who says that!

We're growing up too quickly, and not of our own volition. The draftees of the Vietnam were handed guns and taught how to kill or be killed, how to survive hell, and sent to fight an enemy they did not themselves make. Are we so different? Given the weight of the world, taught what to think, and sent out to work minimum wage and maybe, just maybe achieve some mythical substance that our parents and grandparents called the "American Dream."

But all I wanna do is dance.

I keep seeing the idea that teen members of Gen Z are the last generation to experience an actual childhood and honestly? I agree.

We as a society have made being a child so hostile, so miserable, that kids aren't interested in being young anymore.

How children are constantly told to grow up, how the color has been sucked out of the world, how because of cringe culture children will be fucking torn apart by grown adults all over the internet, how children are experiencing crisis after crisis. Children are shamed for their interests and hobbies and style by grown ass adults and teens who are far too old to be doing this. How kids aren't allowed to be anywhere without being made fun of by adults who are miserable.

Being a child is fucking hostile now, and I don't blame this generation of kids for trying too hard to be mature/grown. Because people treat children like shit, so who would want to be one?

Isn't it fucked up how people say that school is the place to make mistakes to not make them later but making mistakes make you be behind and most of the time people will not help you and say that you are lazy. Isn't it fucked up that we give teens and children almost no place to be allowed to be behind and to make mistakes.

Anarchists, rebels, and general punk rockers I am begging you to listen to children and teenagers experiences in school!! It's a fucked system and needs to be abolished asap and idk if I'm not digging deep enough but I never hear anyone talking about it! We need to raise our hand to speak & to use the bathroom, we can only eat once a bell says we can, any sort of self expression like hair dye, piercings, etc, can land you a detention, suspension, or expulsion, and schools do nothing about suicidal students and victims of bullying. Teachers will scream at you and if you defend yourself it's "disrespectful", and I am sick to death of all these adults having authority over us!! So please, if you consider yourself part of the revolution, make sure you're fighting for everyone
