One Of My Favorite Things To See Within The Plural Community Is When Some System Use A Different Term

One of my favorite things to see within the plural community is when some system use a different term for alters/headmantes, systems can get so creative when maken up things

We have seen parts, homies, familie, roommates, guys, and some random things that are so funny and interesting to see, and I think that's a great thing

Even though it's normal for systems use one of the two more common terms you don't have to stick with a term you and your systems don't feel comfortable, there's not a bad nor incorrect term when calling your system parts cause that's a you thing, and I think is awesome when a system is ok to using alternatives for themselves cause that can be helpful to recovering, even though it sounds stupid or nonsense

If you want to share with us how you call your alters besides that you can do it!! We'll gladly read with joy

And for the record, even though we call them alters online, with ourselves and a close group of friends and people we call them persmos, yeah, like our name hahahaha #PersmosRule

Stop treating Simply Plural as a system social media app, it's not

And worst if you put a lot and detail information about you, your system and alters, that can be very dangerous for your integrity

Is ok wanting to have more friends and see other's people systems and alters, but you really have to be careful to who you give your simply plural, people online can be shitty some times and you don't know what will they do with your information

So please, don't use Simply Plural as a social media app, and also don't ask for a chat between systems function, that could be very dangerous for systems

If you're gonna pass your Simply Plural make sure you know the person you're giving it

Let's talk about: Fakeclaiming and Internet

Even though we can agree that fakeclaiming is a big problem and a very prominent thing, more in the DID/OSDD community, we also have some mixed opinions about the topic, so hear me out

When you accepted being a system it's obvious that would be a really hard process, you still have to deal with the self doubt and denial and it's understandable that you don't want to be any close to things that can tell you that you're faking and aren't valid, understandable

We also had that moment in our internet life that we would get aggressive or defensive with people who fakeclaimed us or fakeclaimed other people/systems that we care about, we were so anti fakecalimers that we started to giving them our whole attention

Some things had to happen to us so we get out that fakeclaimers/anti-fakeclaimers places in the internet and, after a time away from that we just understood

Why give a shit?

Half if not all fakeclaimers are just trolls or attention seekers, they don't know what they're talking about and think they're better because of some moralist and superiority shit they have going on, giving them the attention and fight they want doesn't lead systems to stop being fakeclaimed, actually it encourages fakeclaimers to target more systems cause they're being an easy target and fun to mock

Ignoring them is the best way of making them stop

"But they fakeclaimed us/me"

So? Are you really gonna give a stranger on the internet the pleasure of being sad/mad or anything bad about it?

People on the internet rely on the anonymously of it thinking they won't have consequences, so obviously they'll use it to mock people, but it's your responsibility to let them play with you and give them entertainment or be mature and just block/ignore them, cause that's the best way to be sure they'll stop

Saying fakeclaiming is bad and you shouldn't do it won't stop fakeclaimers from do it, they're in all the internet and will target the ones who give them fun

We have another opinion related to the same topic, but we're probably save it for another post

This is a vent like post, but it's ok if you reblog cause you feel identified with it or want to share a similar experience, we don't care for that so you can do it

One of the worst things as a system with low split tolerance is when you are in a relationship based in trauma bonding, and you end up splitting or forming an alter because of thta

When you form an alter that make sure you don't get out the relationship as a response of the trauma bonding

When you form an alter that tries to get you out of the relationship but you can't because of the trauma bonding

When you form an introject of that person to help the reinforcement of the trauma bonding

When you form an introject of that person to try and cope the relationship (Good, neutral or bad way)

It doesn't matter how the alter ends up pressenting, is related of that trauma bonding relationship, and even if you get out the relationship you'll see that alter and you remind that relationship, you can't help but feel guilty

Even if the alters gets dorman, fuse or fragments after the relationship broke out you're conscious that alter once was there, and you can't help but remember something about that relationship, and how the impact on you was so strong that ended up in formation/splitting of someone new

I find so funny that even though we're introject heavy the most formed alters are almost always the brainmades, and like 98% of the fragments are introjects

It's like the brain says "We need a new fragment, let's introject... Wait, we need a more fully formed alter? Here you go a brainmade"

All the formation budget goes to the brainmades /j
