This is partly an art blog, but be prepared for occasional Bug Facts and other such randomness. Spam likes and all other positive interactions are appreciated here! Really happy rn about the Leif art and uh. let me just say that all of the nice things people said in the tags mean so much to me!! This is like the most I've got on any one post and even if it's just like "cool" I will be thinking about that for 9 years!!

(Also worth noting that even if I'm not great at actually communicating with people, I like talking about my hyperfixations and I'm always willing to draw something as a request or whatever (might take a bit though!))

ok so biology. this taxon of dragons is generally bat-sized so they are still Tiny >:D moths and beetles are more closely related to each other than bees so that's reflected with leif and kabbu's anatomical similarities lepidopteran dragons have finely scaled wings which allows them the Forbidden Colors (blue) that can't be achieved through pigment alone beetles have scales on their limbs despite their size they still get big patagiums because I said so i kind of like the idea that dragon!leif kept growing in snakemouth den darkstalker-style even if it makes no sense bug fables leif bug fables vi bug fables kabbu bug fables peridots-art dragons
