Again, they still have to vote on the final passage & the House still has to vote on it as well.

So, focus on your House Representative now; Continue to call them & tell them to vote ‘No’ to KOSA. Remember: There is more opposition to KOSA in the House.

Dems have been manipulating voters away from 3rd parties every single election while making promises they never keep good on, while doing NOTHING to actually protect any of us or make anything better. Because what we're doing and have been doing for the last 30 years, this "lesser evil" & "vbnmw" thing was the liberals' idea and that isn't working for any of us At All. Its keeping us here in this cycle where nothing gets better but it can Always get worse.

If you can't vote 3rd party in your state ask yourself why that is then do something about it.

Quit expecting democrats to give a shit about the equality you need when you've been protesting genocide for nearly a year and they still welcomed the war criminal for a conversation in the white house.

Any right you've won under democrats is as superficial as Obama's executive order and that's been proven.

According to all available history: FUCK DEMOCRATS; You NEED to be supporting 3rd parties if you support progress and you need to do the work of getting their names out. Democrats DO fight and suppress 3rd parties. So its more work to support a 3rd party than a democrat, yeah.

But if progress is worth anything at all it should be worth at least trying to do the work it takes to get a viable 3rd party on the ballot.

KOSA has a good chance of not passing! The Senate is only the first part, and even if The Senate doesn’t pass the bill, it’ll go to the house, which has even more opposition! So tonight i played borderlands 1 remaster past midnight, checked socials and... kosa has passed its senate committee vote with 86-1. Yes committee, not a full senate vote despite what i was lead to believe from the words of others. Apologies for that. So despite this news, there is still time to stop this, we just need to work hard to resist it.

The bill has not reached the finish line, it only a passed a checkpoint. We can still turn it around.

Hi, I am urging you to VOTE NO on KOSA, s.1409. Nearly 200 human rights and LGBT organizations total came out in an open letter opposing it in 2022 and 2023 because of how dangerous it is. The new language does NOT meet any concerns brought up, in fact many organizations were ignored. Major news have reported that this bill actively harms kids. When you look online through social media, you will find thousands of posts by Gen Z who are opposed to this bill. We do not want this.

The rewritten bill would still allow any state attorney general, and now the FTC, to sue any website for “harmful” content. When you have Republicans calling anything LGBT “sexual exploitation” or anything about race “CRT” to successfully ban books and teachers, then they will use any justification to censor the internet. The Missouri attorney general used “mental health” successfully to ban gender-affirming care with backed up research. Suicide rates will skyrocket for marginalized youth with this bill restricting content.

Multiple experts agree this bill pushes age verification, even with the new language. KOSA hands more private data of children to third party companies. Furthermore, updated language threatens encryption the same way the Earn It Act does. How is this protecting children’s privacy?

KOSA actively harms kids by taking away educational resources they need right now. Do NOT support this bill. Thank you.

Folks, what the Senate voted on was the cloture for KOSA. It's like a prelude, their way of deciding TO vote on it soon. Those many Democrat votes don't even represent whether they would vote for KOSA itself.

American Psycho Cutscene Idea

Based on a convo with me and my moot @annabellelee1849 so enjoy I guess

So I was listening to O’ Superman, Mitskis why didn’t you stop me? and Melanies Sippy cup I couldn’t help but think this might’ve been a scene in the book but also a cut scene from a movie that might’ve been in the directors cut.

It starts with Patrick killing and dismembering a prostitute and after he’s done he’s on barbiturates and soon he tries to stay awake but he accidentally falls asleep

And he soon wakes up in his childhood living room and he’s now 8-10 years old again. He finds himself wondering why he’s here when his mom comes in and asks how her baby boys doing. He asks his mom what he’s doing here but she just doesn’t hear him and gives him a sweet treat and asks how his day has been and soon she just looks at him while still smiling eyes wide. But it’s not her smile he remembers. It’s uncanny and lifeless at best but he just asks what she’s doing. It’s then she asks why he murdered that girl. It’s then Patrick soon cries and tells his mom he didn’t mean to but his mom keeps asking and it’s when he screams I don’t know he wakes up.

But he can’t move. And no matter how hard he tries he can’t move. It’s then he sees a shadow in the corner of his room and he threatens the intruder but he soon hears a voice come out of him. Saying it missed him. Patrick recognizes it as his mothers.

But it sounds distorted and way too broken to be hers. Like a broken vinyl.

But he still tries to call out to her.

And when his mom walks towards him Patrick sees that she’s not looking alive anymore.

She looks dead. But not like a rotting body that he’s used to seeing. It’s more like a fresh corpse at a morgue. And no matter what she comes and cradles his head closer and calls him her baby boy no matter what. And it’s there Patrick begins silently crying while this corpse of his mom wipes them away and says it knows he didn’t mean to kill that poor girl

And it’s then Patrick wakes up.

He looks around breathing heavily and soon can’t sleep now so he goes to his living room to watch the slasher films he’s rented but

These include the University of Pennsylvania denying a screening of a documentary which raises concerns some young Jews have about Israel's treatment of Palestinians, and Brandeis University banning the student group Students for Justice in Palestine.* Equating criticism of Israel with antisemitism by law, under a threat of investigation, will only create more fear in schools, prompting administrators to silence this speech regardless of whether it is protected.

Second, even where administrators do not take formal action, students and their organizations, faculty, and university staff may be deterred from speaking and organizing on these issues. Activists would be understandably hesitant to engage in political expression criticizing Israel or advocating for Palestinian rights if they have reason to believe the federal government will actively investigate such expression in connection with harassment complaints and investigations.

Finally, the bill would likely inspire an increasing number of complaints focused on constitutionally protected criticism of Israel. These complaints will not only cause schools to limit speech out of fear, but will also force both the Department and covered universities to devote time and resources to addressing complaints about constitutionally protected speech, instead of meritorious harassment complaints.”
