November 11, 1969—an article on the 11/8/69 Southern Illinois University show. Strange to read an article so focused on their increased individuality during that fall tour—and even stranger to think of how soon after that everything fell apart.
Feelin’ Groovy, I Am a Rock, Mrs. Robinson, The Sound of Silence, and So Long, Frank Lloyd Wright from this show were used in the Live 1969 album. America was not used, though that recording exists on YouTube with substantially fewer sound issues than Mrs. Robinson.
