Blog Announcement | 2017 Secret Santa

Christmas is getting closer, and so is the Secret Santa deadline. I just have a few quick reminders for the secret santa writers:

 I just want to remind the applicants that they'll have to submit me their writings by December 10 - December 16 of 2017. 

Don’t forget: Bare minimum you need to know about the person you are writing for is their name, their bias, and any triggers you need to refrain writing about. 

Some of you writers have changed your urls, so I don’t know where you went now. I’m lowkey having a heart attack because I can’t find you, and I’m afraid that your secret santas can’t either if they still need to do more research. If they can’t find you, they’ll probably find me, and I can’t find you. So please, IF YOU HAVE CHANGED YOUR URL or have more or less accounts, please let me know ASAP.

Jungkook knows he’s gone too far when he sees the street sign that designates different gang territory borders. A group of young adults turn their heads to look at Jungkook, standing out in the light like a target.

“Are you lost kid?” says the one in the center, flicking away his cigarette. He turns towards Jungkook and the whole group follow suit as the man takes a step forward.

“U-um, no, I was just -” Jungkook is just two blocks away from the train station. But Jungkook was too much in a hurry; just one block too early and here he is.

“Is there a problem here, gentlemen?” Jungkook knows that voice. But the arm that rests on his left shoulder is still unfamiliar to him. As it should be. After all, this guy a notorious gang leader.

Jung Hoseok steps up into the light beside Jungkook, with his other men joining in. Hoseok tilts his chin upward with confidence as he clearly marks Jungkook as one of his own.

“Jung. You need to keep your strays in line. You’re coming in a little too close, don’t you think?”  The center man flaps the sides of his jacket and puts his hands on his hips, tilting his chin as well to challenge Hoseok.

“Excuse me. Do you see that street sign up there?” Hoseok uses his right hand to point left upwards to the street sign that marks the borders, “This entire street is the border; from one end to the other. We’re on our end. Where are you, Kyung Seung?”

Kyung Seung is finally caught by surprise when he realizes he’s in the middle of the road. Despite it being neutral ground, he’s definitely challenging the borders more so than Hoseok and his men.

“That’s what I thought. You’re the ones on the stray. Otherwise, your boss might find an anonymous tip that one of his men under his wing are undisciplined. We both know what that means? You’re still on probation after he got you out of that drugs bust, aren’t you?” Hoseok threatens as he takes a step closer.

Kyung Seung exhales in frustration and steps backwards with his men. Not until they are two streets back from the border, do they finally turn their backs and walk away.

Jungkook exhales and slips himself away from Hoseok’s lingering arm on his shoulder, “Thanks. Uh, I’ll be going now.”

“No problem. Do you need more money for the train pass?”

“No, no. I’m covered. Thanks. Bye.” Jungkook scurries backwards and around the block, going towards the station this time. The faster he gets out of here, the better.

For Jungkook to be in this area, surrounded by this many gang members, it can’t look good on his record. Not for a high honors high school student applying for college.

Especially when he’s trying to hide the fact that his half brother is Jung Hoseok.

I imagine Jimin is the kind of boyfriend who unintentionally always does some sort of gesture, such as brushing away the hair on your face, before he kisses you

I imagine Seokjin is the kind of boyfriend who will slowly crawl under the sheets to gently wrap his arms around you and pull you close so he can get a decent night’s sleep

I imagine Jimin is the kind of boyfriend who purposely moves your sleepy head onto his shoulder
