Walking into the bar, he didn't expect to see someone like you. 

You were the bartender but yet you weren't. The way that you carried yourself among the drunk men and overexcited sports fans, you would think you were a part of the crowd.

You were his complete opposite, that he could see. You smiled, a lot. But it was an amazing smile. It was the kind of smile that you would do anything just to see it again and again.

And that laugh. It was the most contagious thing he had ever heard. He knew in that moment that he wanted to be the one who always made you laugh. 

Your eyes were something he knew he would always love. They held a light that he had lost long ago. There was a certain amount of innocence that he could see but there was also a hint of mischief. And that mischief made him want you more.

You reeled him in without even saying a word. 

He was fascinated.

And he was glad Charles sent him to look for you.

As the second youngest member in the pack and the only other human ( i.e Stiles and Mason being the others) you were not allowed to participate in any of the packs schemes. Especially if they were dangerous. You were Scott’s little sister and if anything were to happen to you, he and the others of the pack would never forgive themselves. Which is why when it came to saving Lydia from Eichen House you were told to stay behind and wait for them to get back. 

However, you were not one to give up so easily and threatened Scott into sneaking into Eichen House behind his back and finding Lydia on your own. Scott knew that he should not take your words so lightly, so he let you come as long as you stayed with Kira and Malia in the Electrical Room. That being so, the girls and you had finally done your part of the plan of rebooting the security system. Not knowing that the boys seemed to have found themselves in trouble and it causing trouble for you and Liam. 

Finding difficulty in breaking down the locked gate due to the mountain ash surrounding it, Liam came up with a somewhat good plan. In order to break down the door, he had to be angry and in order to be angry Scott had to punch him. 

Liam decided to antagonize Scott, “I tried to take your powers, I tried to kill you. Hit me!” Scott was still hesitant so Stiles decided to join in.

“He also left you for dead,” he chimed in.

Liam nodded and continued, “I wanted you dead!” That seem to have struck a nerve and Scott punched him in the face.

Hunched over, Liam’s breathing grew louder as he grew angry. Scott glared at him, anger visible on his face. Liam, breathing heavily, continued taunting him, “You know, I’ve been dating Y/N behind your back. It’s been three months now and you still never noticed my scent was all over her bedroom.” 

Hearing that, Scott halted as he processed what Liam had just said. Next to them, Stiles eyebrows furrowed into a frown as he shouted, “ Hit Him! HIT HIM!” Scott’s attention diverted back to Liam and he punched him again. Stiles, whose anger seemed to have flourished at hearing his adopted little sister was dating Liam of all people, scoffed, “It’s got to be harder than that!” 

As Scott punched Liam two more times, the young werewolf’s anger was at its’ all time high as his eyes glowed yellow and he growled at Scott when he asked if he was angry. The two werewolves pushed at the locked gate until it came down. Stiles getting over his shock, ran passed the fallen gate in order to find and save Lydia. 

However, not before shouting back, “We are definitely talking about this when this is over!!”

You cuddle closer into James side, the cold air making you crave the warmth radiating from him. The streets were empty, with the occasional car driving past or students heading on home. After an amazing dinner, James and you decided to walk back to your dorms, wanting a few more peaceful minutes before you had to go your separate ways.

Your peaceful walk is cut short when a car comes speeding down the road, a group of rowdy boys on it. James stops walking and his hold on your arm tightens. You hear him curse under his breath and turns you both around, starting to walk back the way you came from. 

The car slows down and you hear a voice shout, “ Look what we have here boys! It’s James!” James stops you both and reluctantly turns towards the group of boys. They pile out of the car, swaying on their feet, the stench of alcohol radiating off of them.”We’ve been looking everywhere for you!”

“Didn’t know you had yourself a date!,” says the curly haired one. Toby, you believe is his name. You had never officially met James friends but you knew who they were. Dimitri speaks up with a coy smile and says, “ Aren’t you going to introduce us?”

James with a tight lipped smile, clears his throat, “ This is Y/N, my girlfriend,” he says turning towards you, “ Y/N, these are my friends George, Toby, Guy, Dimitri, and Harry.” As he introduces them to you, they each bow to you. 

You smile slightly and say, “ It’s a pleasure to meet you boys. I’ve heard a lot about you.” You expected for that to be it, but you were oh so wrong.

Harry Villiers steps towards you and takes your hand, bowing down and placing a kiss on the top. “The pleasure is all ours, love,” he says with a quick wink towards you.

You are abruptly pulled away from him, James arm around your waist as he pulls you closer towards him. Your eyes are widened with surprise while his are glaring daggers at Harry. With an angry voice, James says, “ Alright then, you’ve met her. Now you lot can fuck off now.”

“ You need to leave Stiles, Now!”, you shout at him. You were furious that he would show up, knowing that he can get hurt. 

He stubbornly shakes his head and says, “ I’m not leaving! You’re like my sister. You need all the help you can get.”

You growl lowly at him, “ Why do you have to be so stubborn?” You turn your head away from him, catching that familiar scent.

You smirk at him and say “Should’ve brought that bat, Stiles.” You flash your gold eyes at Stiles and growl turning away from him,” Just stay behind me, I’ll protect you even if it costs me my life.”

Slowly walking into your room, he sits on the corner of your bed. 

He looks around  and sighs. “I used to have nightmares too. Still do sometimes.” You avert your gaze and look to your lap, twiddling your fingers. “ I hear you have them frequently.”

You roll your eyes and say, “ Let me guess, Scott told you.” 

He slightly laughs and says, “No, I’ve heard you through the walls and I’ve seen Scott coming out of your room after he comes and checks on you.” He averts his gaze from you and says, “ Scott and your mom aren’t home so I thought I should come and check on you.”

Smiling slightly, you say, “Thank you, Isaac.” For a moment, there is an uncomfortable silence between you two. Right when you were going to say something, he stands up abruptly.

He hesitates and says, “ I- I should go. You need to sleep.” You look at him and with a slight fear of being alone, you ask him to stay.

“Can you stay? Just - Just until I go to sleep,” you ask him. hesitantly. 

Mouth slightly agape, he says, “yeah sure.”
