“What are you doing?” you asked suspiciously. Kol turns around quickly from where he was standing next to the bed. There were two suitcases wide open with badly folded clothes coming out of it. Looking around the room, you could see the closet door wide open and some pieces of clothing loitering around the bedroom floor. You looked back at Kol and could see the relief in his eyes.

He smiles nervously,” Oh, hello love. Didn’t hear you come in. I thought you would be out longer with Rebekah.” With your arms crossed, you slowly step closer to him and look at him skeptically. “Again, what are you doing?”, you ask him. He hesitates and avoids eye contact until he finally sighs. He sits on the edge of the bed and beckons you closer. You slowly step closer to him until he finally holds onto one of your hands and pulls you closer. Standing in between his thighs, he places his hands on your hips and looks up at you.

“Well, this probably looks very odd but I promise there’s a reason for it.” he says. You place your hands on his shoulders, “ It better be a damn good one because this room is a mess.” He chuckles and says, “ It is and I’ll make sure to clean it up before we go.” You look at him dumbfounded and ask, “ Before we go? Go where?” You are immensely confused, you don’t remember him or anyone else mention anything about going anywhere.

He smiles and squeezes your hips slightly, “ I thought it would be a good idea for the both of us to leave and travel the world. We haven’t spent any time together ever since I was undaggered back in Mystic Falls and we haven’t had any peace since,” he looks you in the eyes and smirks, “ I would also like to make up for all of those anniversary’s I missed while I was daggered. Maybe even have a second honeymoon since the first was a bit rushed.”

You throw your head back and laugh, “ If I remember correctly, you took your bloody time on our honeymoon,” you look down at him and softly caress his left cheek with your thumb and smile softly, “ You said you wanted to memorize every part of my body and cherish me like no one else could. Which you did, up until the month was over.” It happened so long ago that you’re surprised you haven’t already forgotten. But you knew you wouldn’t, you were able to marry the man you loved and are still with him years later.

Looking up at you, he smiles remembering those days when he had you all to himself without his family drama. “ Which is why I want to leave. I want to go some where far away from here and take a break from my family. So what do you say, will you leave with me?”, he looks up at you with hopeful eyes.

You smile leaning down and kiss him, “ I would love too.”

Grant: *sighs and looks down at you* I didn’t pretend to care, okay. I mean, at first I did but then you all grew on me. *slightly smiles down at you* Especially you.

You: *scoffs* You really think I’m going to believe anything you say right now! You betrayed our trust! You betrayed me! I can’t believe I actually thought you cared. * tries to turn away from him*

Grant: *turns your face to him* Hey! Everything I said to you was true. When I told you how I felt about you, it was all true. I never lied about that. *Slowly loosens his grip on your shoulders* Which is why I want you to come with me.

You: *frowns* What?

Grant: *helps you sit up* I want you to come with me. Leave S.H.I.E.L.D. and come with me. Once I finish helping Garrett we can leave. We’ll start of fresh in another country. *holds onto your hands* Come on, baby. We can be happy, just the two of us.

You: * looks him in the eyes and smiles slightly* Yeah, *nods* yeah I’ll go with you.

* ‘Can’t believe Coulson’s plan actually worked,’ you think as you leave with Grant. *
