I'm a grown adult who pays bills and a mortgage, so I fully understand how serious the financial situation is for the QSMP French admins. I do not mean to minimize their struggle.

At the same time, though, I'm a little shocked at the lack of empathy I've seen for Quackity. His money was literally stolen from him through embezzlement! I can't imagine how furious he must be, and I really hope he takes legal action against those who planned and participated in the embezzlement.

I guess I shouldn't be shocked at the fandom reaction since this is the "it's okay to shoplift" website, but damn is it disappointing to see the lack of sympathy for Q.

Even though he is intensely private about his life, he's always been described as the nicest person by his friends and people who have met him. I wouldn't be surprised, though, if he becomes even more guarded in order to protect himself and his business.

I hope quackity is able to properly pace the progress of restructuring his whole business in order to avoid burning himself out and crumbling to a point of no return just cuz of some beggers in the chats. He said it would take quite some time, due to legal stuff -- i assume for proper contracts for those he hires, which will need to be translated/written in each person's native language and made to corresponding to each person's individual countrys' labor laws (which of course all very). It isn't an easy or quick progress, especially after he downsized the company after firing those who were stealing funds/mistreating employees. So their team isn't as big as before for the time being.

Personally I think quackity has been very strong and professional, based on the statements he's made and how quickly he responded & tried to fix things once the issues were brought to his attention. With not only multiple countries worth of fanbases breathing down your neck, but also a full on union organization.

I think the inclusion of the union is an amazing thing, but I think its also what sparked so much confusion and hate in the fandom the past few days (both from 1. People not knowing what a union is/does. And 2. People (americans) being raised to think unions are evil and company/entertainment killers (cuz of capitalistic disctatorship in american society). Tho it could also be that many ppl don't don't know what the word embezzlement even means, cuz I've seen ppl not take the word seriously when it's brought up in conversations about how serious this all is.

overall, the hate is just sad to see towards everyone involved in this - cc's have been harrassed/spammed for answers even tho logically they don't work for quackity and wouldn't have known anything going on behind closed doors (the hate towards tubbo during tubbothon was horrible. Bro was bartending at the time, he didn't know the servers current plans lmao). But either way, im glad things have been confirmed to be in the progress of getting better, and that all the doomposters have been proven to be over dramatic & impatient bitches who have each outed their true selves themselves to the community. Letting people know who and who aren't truth worthy (same goes for the "leakers" and rumor spreaders).
