Hannibal and Will on a killing spree

He could go with Will if he wanted to protect him, but he didn't. I think he was just playing his usual game of manipulation and curiosity, but he realized immediately after saying it that maybe he shouldn't and that he doesn't really want Will to be gone for good. He's realizing it slowly as we see it thro the episodes. Hannibal didn't realize that he loves Will that much and can't stay away from him until the moment Will was locked away from him

To the people who were confused about why Hannibal sent Will to investigate Tobias.

I’ve seen some posts in the tags questioning Hannibal’s motive and even the legitimacy of Hannigram, claiming that if Hannibal adored Will, he wouldn’t send him into danger like that.

Well, I too wonder about that at first, but after watching the scene again, I feel like Hannibal made a mistake. And he realized it.

For example, this was his face right after saying to Will, “perhaps you should interview him.”

Notice how his face very slowly progresses…It’s the look of “…perhaps I shouldn’t have said that.”

I don’t think Hannibal’s intention was to send Will into danger. His intention was honestly to help Will by giving him a lead, but he soon realized that he was sending Will to a foe that may be too much for him. He looked regretful, like “I’ve made a terrible mistake.” But it was too late to retract it.

Also, I think Hannibal’s obvious sigh of relief as illustrated by his reaction to seeing Will alive was genuine.

He had tears in his eyes for goodness sake. Hannibal couldn’t have faked this, it is not his style.

Anyway, in conclusion. Hannigram is the best. Hannibal loves Will, and Will…Is coming around hahaha.

I believe this is why Will didn't shoot Hannibal in the last episode (E7)

Besides the other unconscious reasons,

Will could never actually kill Hannibal because what Will feels for Hannibal (the deep bound and connection). Will just doesn't know it yet.

To be clearer about that

Will "Can't live with him" because Will's goodness and innocent nature is the opposite of Hannibal’s monstrous nature, Hannibal deeds (the killing and cannibaling) do repulse Will.

"Can't live without him" because Hannibal is the only one who can understand Will. He is his only friend and the only connection to the outside world, Hannibal is Will's "everyone" and everything.

Will is confused about his feelings for Hannibal. He loves and hates him at the same time, he is hurt and feels betrayed by Hannibal after what he had done to him.

The next scene:

Will sufferes a blackout then wakes up in Hannibal’s office. He drove his car not to his house or to Alana or Jack, but to Hannibal

His subconscious took him to the place where he felt safe and understood
