Yeah I totally understand your point OP. It's just that having the representation in skin tone and what not is part of giving credit to usually unrecognized groups of people.

So although I can already tell the devs have done their cultural research and hopefully won't write anything dumb into lore, it would still be cooler to see a playable character in a darker skin tone. Although I'm not Brazilian myself I hope to see some positive native rep in lore.

Natlan is a solid 7/10 they lose 3 point for not having the entirely of the skin colour spectrum

Chongyun openly tells us that he gets hotter than a normal person. He gets warm enough consistently to say snowing is delightful weather.

Now freminet doesn't tell us that he's warmer but he does mention how he believes the ocean to be cold. He is warmer than a normal human but he wouldn't be nearly as warm as chongyun because he mentions that snow is cold to him.

Small note to the perhaps unaware but Chongyun and freminet have warmer body temperatures.

Chongyun due to his yang energy and freminet due to constant contact with cold water from a young age.
