While part of me realizes Respawn needs to make money in order to keep Apex going, the other half of me is disgusted by how unprofessional the dev was towards those who would rather want the skins to be earned rather than bought.

And coming from a LoL veteran player, Riot’s skins/event/crafting system is hella more affordable than what Respawn’s pulling on their own playerbase. And at least with Riot, they do have better communication and better responses than EA/Respawn right now.

From what I’m getting, Riot actually does seem to care for their fanbase and playerbase than EA would; and that’s saying something.

“Chant I” is very good and powerful but also kind of inadvertently hilarious because

PERSEPHONE: “In the darkest time of year WHY is it so BRIGHT down here? brighter than a carnival it ain’t right and it ain’t natural”

HADES: “Lover, you were gone so long lover, I was lonesome so I laid a power grid on the ground on which you stood”

translates pretty well into

PERSEPHONE: “oh my god i just had a going away party and now i come down here expecting it to be nice and dark, but now there’s fuckin lights all over and i have a hangover, what the fuck, husband”

HADES: “you left me alone and you’re like 90% of my impulse control so i wired the entire underworld for power, do you not like it????”
