Marvel Splash screen fades into a command center, slightly ominous music plays. Secretary of State Ross and the Avengers are facing off against Cyclops and the X-Men.

Sam Wilson: Where did you all come from?

Cyclops: We’ve always been here.

Cut to a scene of Jean Gray telekinetically keeping rubble from falling on a group of people during the Battle of New York by making it go off to the side. Then another scene of Shadowcat phasing through some of Ultron’s drones to short them out as they attack the school.

Peter Parker: How have we not heard of you guys?

Cyclops: Mankind is not exactly forgiving of differences.

Quick flash news clips showing real life instances of racism, homophobia, anti-semitism, etc.

Cyclops [Voice Over]: We just want to live our lives.

Long shot down the hallways of Xavier’s Institute. Students laughing and having a good time out on the lawn.

Cyclops [Voice Over]: Not to be used, abused, and exploited for our gifts.

A mutant trembles from a shock collar buzzing them with electricity.

Cyclops [Voice Over]: Not to worry about being turned into lab experiments.

Ominous looking test facility with nightmare inducing equipment, sobbing and screams in the distance as people are thrown into cages.

Cyclops: We just want to live in peace.

Doctor Strange [Voice Over]: What changed?

Rapid succession of clips from the X-Men and the Brotherhood of Mutants fighting each other in a shipyard.

Cyclops: You know how the death of one man could set off the start of what was to be the war to end all wars?

Sam Wilson: Who died?

Someone is placing flowers on the grave of Charles Xavier.

Cut to scene of Storm facing off with Magneto.

Storm: Can there not be peace?

Magneto [Voice Over]: We will never know peace as long as we let our fears of the homo sapiens keep us locked inside our walls, hiding who we truly are.

Pixie walks down a busy sidewalk, pulling her hoodie tighter, her wings just poking out the bottom of her overcoat. Jack-booted thugs raid a house as a family cowers in a corner, one of the children is an obvious mutant.

Magneto: It was always going to end this way.

Rapid succession of fighting between all groups. X-Men vs Brotherhood. Brotherhood vs Avengers. Mutants vs Humans.

Cyclops again faces off against the Ross, only this time in uniform and very pissed.

Cyclops: We came here asking for assistance in stopping a war.

A mutant is brutally arrested by cops.

Cyclops: Instead you’re rounding us all up. You’re proving his point.

Ross: There are threats to national security that need to be addressed and neutralized.

More explosions and fights.

Cyclops: No, this was a mistake.

The X-Men are sitting around at the Institute, pensive and worried.

Storm: We need to stop Magneto, but if we get in the way, Ross will send the Avengers after us.

Cyclops: So I guess we fight the Avengers.

Epic battle scene, music swells as it cuts into the Avengers vs X-Men logo.

Iceman: They have a Hulk.

Hulk punches down on a steeled Colossus who manages to take the brunt of it.

Cyclops: We have a Rogue.

Rogue stands with an unconscious Thor at her feet as she calls down lightning. She grins.

Silent Night- Kojira Oneshot

It had been what felt like forever since Kong and Godzilla had fought, forever since MechaGodzilla was permanently destroyed... And forever since peace and balance was restored to the world...

Godzilla had been laying on his back alongside Kong for a short while, now. Just gazing up at the star filled sky above with him as thoughts went through his mind...

He liked Skull Island. It was calm and peaceful and not many kaiju knew of the Island, so it was essentially a safe space for him and Kong.

As he gazed up at the stars alongside the ever silent Kong, a small wave of sadness came over him... He missed Mothra. He and Mothra used to look up at the stars with Anguirus long ago, but... now they were both gone.

Anguirus, permanently, and Mothra temporarily.

He was relieved that Mothra would be back soon, but that didn't mean he didn't miss her or Ang- his thoughts were suddenly interrupted when Kong broke the silence.

"Hey, are you alright? Is there something you want to talk about?" He asked.

"N- not really..." Godzilla mumbled.

"You sure?"

Godzilla was silent for a short moment.

"We don't have to talk about anything if you want-"

"I... miss Mothra..." Godzilla mumbled, voice cracking, as he was doing the best he could to force himself to not cry.

"I know... sucks that Ghidorah killed her..."

"But... I couldn't have won if she didn't sacrifice herself..."

"Mm... true..."

There was silence for a short moment, as Godzilla scooted closer to Kong.

"You, uh... don't talk much, do you?" Godzilla awkwardly asked.

"Nah... not used to talking much like everyone else. What, you have a problem with it?"

"No, no, I don't. It's... fine. I'm not used to this kind of silence... I kind of like it..." Godzilla mumbled, slightly smiling.

"You like that I don't talk much?"

"I mean, I'm fine with it... I'm just not used to absolute silence..."

"Ah, makes sense..."

There was another short moment of silence as Godzilla scooted closer to Kong again, now leaning on the ape's soft shoulder.

"What are you doing?" Kong asked.

"I'm just... a bit cold..." Godzilla mumbled, looking away to try and hide the bit of blush across his face.

Godzilla flinched when Kong gently pulled Godzilla up to his chest, letting the King rest his head on Kong's chest.

"Wh- what are you doing?" Godzilla quietly asked as Kong held him against his chest.

"Well, if you're cold, we might as well warm each other up by getting close." Kong responded.

Godzilla cuddled up against Kong, getting closer as he rested his snout in the crook of Kong's neck. "Yeah, you're right..." He mumbled, "You're really soft..."

"Thanks, feeling warmer yet?"

The King nodded his head.

"Good." Kong sighed, now holding Godzilla close as the King hugged him back.

Not another word was said as the two Kaiju eventually fell asleep in each other's arms.

But, unbeknownst to them, the small larvae that was Mothra was watching from a large collection of bushes in the forrest, smiling. (If larvae can smile?)

She was glad that Godzilla was able to let himself show happiness around another Kaiju, he really needed it since Anguirus's demise...

I vote Vulture and Mysterio as the idiot thieves.
