Arcane Survey!!
Arcane Survey!!
Hi everyone, I'm doing a research for my college social studies class on the social differences seen in Arcane (specifically, between Piltover and Zaun). Regardless of your opinion on the show, I would appreciate it if you could complete this survey to help with my research!
What is the research about?
It explores how the fandom perceives the social divide between the two cities and the characters whose ideals are a reflection of their upbringing and home. The research focuses on both sides of the issue without any bias.
Any and all opinions are welcome and appreciated.
Furthermore
The survey is completely anonymous. You won't be asked for your name, email address or location at any point. There is a question regarding your age range, but it's completely optional and you can skip it if you choose.
If you'd like to support my research, please follow the link below:
Reblogs, comments and any feedback in general is greatly appreciated~

As a writer I hate it when people get so perfect with grammar and sentence structures. My personal opinion is if it follows the rules of language enough to where you can clearly understand what the person is trying to say it’s perfect. Language was created to communicate and express ideas, not restrict us. I was so bugged when Stephen King in his book On Writing said it was weaker or worse to say: ‘“He jumped!” he exclaimed.’ Then to say ‘“He jumped!” he said.’. It was just such a nit-picky thing to say. Language was made to express yourself but people judge certain ways of speaking/writing for no valid reason. Say everything other than said, say said as well, say whatever you want! Language is a tool not a barrier. Language is one of the greatest inventions in history, you should not be scared to mess up in it or to be judged for your words. Say stuff in weird ways! Say words from hundreds of years ago! All that matters is you are understood. That is the only rule that should matter. Never be scared to say funky things. If you are judged then ignore them. If you are understood and happy with the words you choose then nothing else should be of importance. Love language.
I don't want to laugh at Sevika's plight but it's FUNNY.
Because imagine she met Silco and thought: "Hey, here's a guy who looks like he definitely won't take in 4 orphans, much less 1, so he can truly focus on our goal!!" Only for her to wake up—after sacrificing her whole ass arm—to her new boss havong already signed adoption papers for not just any kid, but one of Vander's brats AND the same urchin responsible for her loss of limb💀💀
To add insult to injury, that child, in turn, would grow up to be more of a thorn on the ass and dignity for Sevika rather than to the alleged father.
i'd guess it's different for every person, and also difficult to make it not philosophical. for me it's accumulating in good experiences while also helping others have a good experience.
this lends to then some pretty fun things like doing things for the sake of it if it means it's that temporary fun for you or someone else. I've noticed it's also helped me just get out and do more things i otherwise wouldn't have done. i compliment people on their outfit and i like how they smile because of it, i interact with my favourite people online because i know how it feels when someone does it to me.
then the little routinary bits in between is like a soft landing. the spontaneity of doing things for the sake of it can get overwhelming, but it's a comfort when sandwiched between things you can expect.
other than that i'm not so sure. life is dull when there are no others around to light up the room - i suppose the best thing to be is being a light to someone else.
Hello,
I know it’s been an extremely long while but um there is a question that has been haunting me for the past few months and that is
What is the purpose of living? And I don’t ask to draw out a philosophical answer, I want to know an actual, real world answer to what js the purpose to this everyday toil and the routine of following the same tasks everyday with some exceptions.
Do help me with the answer or your opinions , anything really. (Also I apologise for this post to look like an official email, apparently that’s all that I have been writing these days lol)
