Here Are Some Actual Quality Scans Of Some Of My Huevember Paintings From Last November. As I Work In

Here are some actual quality scans of some of my Huevember paintings from last November. As I work in traditional media primarily instead of digital, I opted to make full-on physical paintings for the challenge rather than digital images. Sometimes it worked out that the Huevember in question was the primary hue in the image, and sometimes it was the accent. The real challenge in doing something like that traditionally is color mixing and matching.
All of these were painted in casein paint, and all of them in the parameters of doing the painting within a single day. It was rough, as I also teach a full class load at a university. I did it, though, and I’m still happy about it.

More Posts from Myousa

Second day of Inktober is “divided.” Dip pen and india ink again.
Hey commission this person who does cool art, including one of my people

and a commission for the lovely @myousa of their character Red (or, colloquially, sword hobo)
As always, commissions like this are currently open, and here is the post about it for details!

Casein paint. I am an absolute evangelist for this stuff; it is by far my favorite thing I’ve ever painted with. It’s smooth and creamy, vibrant, mixes and blends beautifully, and has the richest, velvety finish. Jack Richeson & Co makes the kind I use.

I’m trying out Posca paint pens. This is an experiment. I gotta say, I kind of like them. This is on an acryla gouache background.
From here on out, I’m moving all my fanart sketches over the blog that I made to house said fanart. I may continue to post finished illustration stuff here, though.

Here’s a height chart for my favorites, minus two. The only reason William and Annette aren’t in it is because I ran out of room on the page. Just imagine that they’re there, glaring suspiciously from just off-screen.
