Playing around with something I’ve never done before. I was lucky enough to inherit a storage unit full of wood veneer, so I threw it on my plotting cutter and said, “Okay, let’s try it.”
There’s still time to sign up for my summer class, but not much. Classes start June 12th, and I will be covering the history of art dolls and designer toys, as well as how to create your own and cast multiple editions in resin. Some highlight demos from my designer toy and doll-making night class. I feel that it was a pretty good thing overall, and I think I want to teach it again.
In today’s adventures of “I forgot I owned that,” a floral language dictionary and book of flower poems from 1846. It’s not in great condition but that’s alright.
