What I've always wanted

Want to know what I’ve always wanted? A book. But not just any book, I want a special book. One that describes words and their meanings. No, no not a dictionary. What I want is more… more of a story, but a story that defines and describes words. But in the way that ‘Color of a ruby in early morning’s glow’ explains the color red. I guess what I really want is a book that tells me words, like a writer would. How an Author can take a single word, phrase, or scene, and turn it into art itself. Like, say a sun set. You could just say ‘the sunset was nice, it’s beautiful colors crossing the sky’ but an author would say ‘The sunset was beautiful, with it’s pinks, purples, and yellows streaking across the sky in a brilliant display’ See? It’s beautiful, isn’t it? So wouldn’t a dictionary written like this be amazing? I bet it would be, so can we work together to do this? Or anyone do something to make this happen?

John and Grimm the reaper

There once was a man, he was not a nice man. His name is John. Well john tortured, killed, stole, and lied.  He found the entire lifestyle fun. Now let’s introduce my friend Grimm the Reaper, He is very good friends with John as John makes his job and general life more interesting. It was like this for quite a few years but one day John grew board, and decided to take his own life to see what would be in the next. Now as Grimm is not one to wait he made himself known before the act was finished. “Johnny, I didn’t think it would be this soon” Grimm says, John is as scared of his long friend Grimm as he was when they first met. He slowly nods Grimm smiles as John pulls his hood down to reveal a shock of white hair, and a mask of bone. Not this being the first time John has seen Grimm without his hood he is shocked. Grimm removes his mask “What’s the problem Johnny?” he asks stepping closer, his razor sharp scythe dragging on the ground “Are you afraid of your friend?” Johnny falls to the floor, he is afraid. “Where will I go?” He asks, Grimm smiles wider “It would ruin the fun if I told you” Johnny dies, his eyes wide in fear before his soul stands up looking confused. Grimm offers his hand and guides his friend to the next life, and whatever may be ahead of him.

Welcome to Normal

Today was another bright and happy day in Normal! Hello there My name is Aramine And I welcome all new Strangers here! Strangers being any one and anything that comes off of that train right there, people and monsters alike. Anyway Welcome To Normal! This is a bright and happy place with beautiful colors and shades everywhere! It’s never gloomy or sad here, and around here everyone knows your name, and you know there’s! Yu have a one in Three chance to get here to Normal and you lucked out! You can’t ever leave but who would want to, everything’s perfect here! From our ocean colored trees to our pastel Pink cottages! You’ll never be lonely and I’m almost certain that you’ll love it here! Everyone does!  And if you want to hear from the StoryTellers we have weekly meetings in the main hall, the largest building in the center of town!  OH and if you don’t like it here you should totally go and see the StoryTellers, They talk so much about the other Towns you’ll feel like you went there yourself! See you At the meetings!

What comes after

After a few minutes of walking around in the realm of limbo it became clear to John that his friend Grimm had No Idea where they were going  “Hey Grimm, Do you actually know where we’re going?” John asked. “Not really, usually there’s this path to follow but ah. Yea, you didn’t get one” There was a pause “It might be because you killed yourself, rather than being killed by something else. This is the first time it’s happened” John was confused, he’d heard of people killing themselves how was he the first? Grimm saw the look on John’s face “I usually get to them before they die completely. But you killed yourself entirely, without me stepping in” There was another pause “So where do we go?” both of them thought about this for a moment “You could join me, in taking peoples souls to the afterlife” John agreed, and a path lighted up under the pairs feet.

The way the world ends

What I find funny is how everyone expects the world to end in a flaming mess of panic and bad times, but I’ve seen the end of the world, and it’s rather nice. Why would whatever creator there would is finish us off surrounded by more hate, pain, and worry? In reality it’s a very nice summer day. People enjoy the time off of work and school for some miscellaneous holiday, and they go outside and spend time with their families and friends. Everyone’s happy, no one gets hurt, and no one dies. It’s a very nice day, and after everyone says good night and goes to bed, only once everyone is asleep will the world end. Time just stops, and the universe is ultimately destroyed. But everyone enjoyed their final day, and it didn’t seem like such a waste. Sounds nice, doesn’t it? Well, so why do people expect the end of the world to be the utter worst, rather than the best?
