"i'll be right back, alright?" you say to your husband from across the small aisle, him nodding in understanding before you run off.

your daughter had grown quicker than you had expected, none of the clothes that were gifted to you fitting her anymore. now you found yourself in your local shopping mall, running around to find her new clothes that can - hopefully - last her a while.

unfortunately, she seemed dead set on a clothing set that, of course, they didn't have in her size. rushing around the store, you do your best to find any attendants to ask if they had more sizes.

"wanna play a game?" yunho says to the toddler, her arms waving in excitement as she sits in the stroller, a lighthearted laugh escaping her as yunho's tall frame leans down.

he attempted to play rock, paper, scissors with her - a game she is still trying to learn - and felt warmth fill his chest when he let her win, an overexaggerated, disappointed sigh leaving his lips as he looks down, causing your daughter to squeal in joy.

"i have an idea," yunho says softly, a smile on his face as his daughter shakes around in excitement. "race car time!"

yunho grabs the handles of the stroller, looking around the small aisle in the store before running down it, making car noises as he turns corners of the store, avoiding other shoppers as he listenes to his child's screams of happiness.

"that was close," you sigh to yourself, making your way back to where you had left yunho with your daughter. "glad she won't have a fit because we cant get it for her."

you make your way down the aisle only to find it empty. maybe i'm in the wrong one, you think, looking up at the signs to see that you were in the right one.

you chuckle lightly before pulling out your phone, a strange noise stopping you. you try to listen to it clearer as it seems to become louder as time passes.

only then when you look of to face the other end of the long aisle, you see yunho running behind your daughters stroller, making motor noises as your daughter giggles with her hands flailing in the air.

"ladies and gentlemen, will they finish in first place?" you hear yunho say as he barrels closer to you. smiling at your husbands antics, you extend your arms on either side of you, forming a fake finish line as they continue towards your form.

"this is a close race, will they make it?!" yunho says before you move out of the way, letting him and your daughter pass through the "finish line" you created before your daughter bursts into laughter.

"they did it! the best racing team there ever will be is right in aisle five!" yunho says, his voice going deeper as to replicate one over a loud speaker as he turns back towards you, clothes still in hand as you smile at the both of them.

you move closer to yunho, planting a small kiss on his lips as he smiles widely at you before you lean down and show your daughter the clothes.

she laughs happily, a smile on her face and yunho can't help but feel like he is the luckiest man in the world for having both of you by his side.

you yawned as you cuddled deeper into the pile of yunho and blankets, closing your eyes. despite being inside, in your bed, completely wrapped up by a sleepy gentle giant, you shivered, thinking about just how cold and dark it was outside of your fogged up window. it was absolutely freezing outside, like fireplace and hot chocolate weather but you didnt need any of that when you had a boyfriend that towered over you and an endless supply of blankets.

Yunho let out a sigh and tightened his limbs around you more than before, arms squeezing around your waist as he pulled your body against his. with his eyes closed, he pressed a kiss to the top of your head and then pulled the blanket up higher so that your head was barely peaking out. he had you swaddled in blankets and extra long limbs. his legs were encasing yours, as were his arms around your torso. the boy was literally wrapped around you in every sense of the word.

you pressed a kiss to his bare chest and then buried your face in it, breathing in his scent as you slowly began to drift off again. the heat that radiated off of your boyfriend was wrapped around you, due to the heavy blankets over the both of you. it wasnt the type of heat to leave you sweating or sticky because the room was actually quite cool. it was a comfortable warmth, the type that cats bask in when the sun is shining through the window.

you both had been here all day and kept falling asleep and waking up in the comfort of your dark bedroom. yunho had kept you in his arms, only letting you get up for food and to use the bathroom, and even then, he didn't let you go without complaining. he would lay there and pout until you were safe in his arms again. his reasoning behind this is that he wanted to protect you but he couldnt do that if you werent cuddling with him. and while you werent quite sure what you needed protection from, you went along with it, unable to turn down cuddles.

you woke up a little while later, unsure of what time is was since yunho had also forbidden the use of electronics. without moving your face away from his chest, you quietly said "yunnie?", checking to see if he was awake.

"hmm?" he responded

"im in love with you" you told him softly. of course he knew you loved him but you felt the urge to let him know, after all, he did have you wrapped in a ball of love and affection. you could almost feel it radiating off of him.

letting out a small sigh of content, yunhos arms squeezed you tighter and then he raised one of his hands to the back of your head, holding you against his chest. "im in love with you as well and i always will be. i promise" he whispered.

you could feel yunhos heart race at your sudden confession and smiled to yourself. there was no way you could ever doubt his love for you. especially when you could feel the fast thrumming of his heart against your cheek.

this was something you had never said before and yunho felt so happy that he could cry. sure you had told him that you loved him, but you had never told him that you were in love with him. people used the word love freely, you can love a pet, your grandma, or a bowl of mashed potatoes, but to be in love was something else entirely, it creates a whole new level of intimacy. all yunho wanted to do was love you, he put his love into everything he did for you and he was happy that you returned that same intensity of adoration.

everytime your face nuzzled into his chest, he thought his heart would explode or beat out of his chest. you were just so small and cute and he just wanted to protect you as much as possible, hence the nest he built around you. nothing could hurt you or distract you while he held you, which meant that he could focus on loving you as much as he could.

at this point, there was absolutely nothing that could separate the two of you.

it was either Answer or Inception, i cant remember but i think those were the two songs i first knew of ateez because the mvs were on top of each other when i put youtube on autoplay HAHAHA

and san just glaring at you from across the room, maybe if it gets too much he would literally grab your hand and drag you away

imagine him just walking up to you at a gathering and wooyoung or a friend of yours immediately knows what’s going one when he sees san’s face. and san would be so pissed cause why isn’t your full attention on him?? he wouldn’t care that by that time literally everyone around you knows what’s going on when he sits down next to you, one hand gripping your thigh as you practically hug his arm.

he’d also be that guy to just randomly grab your wrist and be like “guys excuse us, we’ll be back eventually” and fuck his jealousy out on you.
