Yes, Ikora x Zavala is such an underrated ship! If you want to post more about them, I'm all for it

And honestly I really want to do more stuff for them, but I never thought anyone would want to see it. But thank you for telling me.

And my good news for this is, I have some drawings, writings, and ideas I was never going to post with them, but now I will. So thank you again

And also if anyone has any prompts or suggestions for writing or drawing for the them, or even ideas or headcanons, I’d love to be able to hear and maybe do them. I would really like to see this ship get built, even if we are small.

what are your favorite destiny pairings and why

First of all, first anon submission ever. This is great.

Secondly, hope this doesn’t sway anyone from following me, it’s just my preferences, and every ship on this blog will get respect(unless it deals in pedophillia, abuse, incest, or beastiality)

And thirdly they are rare pairs within the community, but it goes:

1.) Lord Shaxx and Lady Efrideet(Shaxxideet I belive): That line from the Titan Sunbreaker quest where Shaxx goes, “I miss those days, I miss… Lady Efrideet” after talking about how she threw Saladin like a javelin into a fallen walker is what got my first interest in it. Then I just started starting thinking about what he said and got to thinking about how he could’ve just stopped at “I miss those days” but he purposely said “I miss Lady Efrideet” so that truly got me invested in it. Now I just think it’s cute because I imagine Efrideet is kind of small(?) and Shaxx is this big ol’ titan and I just think it’s sweet.

2.) Jolyon Till and Uldren Sov: This got started because of the Uldren lore book and reading the Black Garden stuff, and how it sounds like even though Uldren pushed Jolyon away for his obsession to impress his sister, it sounds like Jolyon still cared for him deeply. Also the whole thing where Jolyon brought him in and Uldren didn’t recognize him, but called him handsome when describing him, and I’m not sure if that is common but it’s pretty cute if you think about it.

3.) Ikora and Zavala(My ultra rare pair): This one got started way back in D1 and mostly grew due to all interactions between the two, and a real life example that echoed the two. Honestly too the whole mom and dad thing that kind of orbits around them also grabbed my attention

So what is Ace like in your destiny school au?

The AU idea actually came from @lotus063 so they have ownership over it.

-He acts like Cayde but a bit more mellow

-Has a short attention span

-He has the tendency to walk really fast and talk really fast, especially if he is excited or sad

-Wicked smart, especially in math and engineering

-Really wants to help people and be a hero like his dad

-Loves his dad a whole lot, and adores the other Vanguard and tower people. They all love him too as he really livens the place up

-Energetic kid, so never give him too much sugar

-Sometimes annoys engineers as he’ll go down there and point out errors, and he’s usually right(they get over it though)

-His biggest secret though is he is constantly worried about his dad

-One if his favorite people besides his dad, was Eris and no one is quite sure why

I saw on your blog awhile back what your fav destiny ships are and I’ve seen all your Zavala/Ikora stuff but I was wondering why you haven’t made anything for the other ships you listed? Are you planning on making anything for them?

Okay so ngl, I have a very bad taste in my mouth when it comes to things regarding Uldren and Lord Shaxx, and it’s not because of who they are as characters.

This happened a decent while ago but the impression it left was just enough to never make me want to do anything regarding those characters.

So I was talking to some people and I was asking them their favorite destiny characters and they said Uldren and Shaxx (other people were there but they weren’t involved)

But then they asked me my favs and I told them and I swear their tone changed even though this was on discord. They just kept insulting the characters I liked and were like “oh well why would you like that character? they’re so bad and like terrible, etc, etc.” Now I asked them to stop and they kind of did for a moment but then they asked my opinion on Mara and I said I’m indifferent to her, they blew up at me for not hating her.`

Like I’m all for having your own opinion on characters but don’t shove it down my throat, you get me?

So that’s why I really haven’t thought about doing anything regarding those two. I don't hate them as characters, but I won’t lie, their fans are not my favorite people atm. they’re not all bad, just the majority of those that I have encountered seem to leave a bad impression on me (Also ngl,  Shaxx and Uldren fans kind of intimidate me because I feel like if do something they don’t like regarding them, I will get assassinated by their fans)

I would love to do stuff regarding them but until I feel comfortable, it probably won’t happen for a while. I am sorry and hope you understand

I miss the ghost that stopped me on Felwinter Peak to thank me for being his friend and to reflect on our journey together

I miss the ghost that would get annoyed when I would rush into danger just because he didn’t want me hurt

The ghost who was so confident on his hacking skills he never needed an access key

The ghost who was so sheepish after he accidentally set stuff off

The ghost that knew you were going through tough battles but just wanted you to come out alive in the end

The ghost that was amazed at the world and what it was like before the collapse

The ghost that tried so hard to stay positive even though his source of life was gone and if you died, that would be the end of it, and that scarred him

The ghost that was so scarred yet so brave at the same time

The ghost whose curiosity outweighed his sense of danger

The ghost who rezzed me and was so happy he found me and I was alive
