Hazbin Hotel HP au where Al for one reason or another takes a small slip of his soul and plants it into the one entity he knows would follow him whereever he goes, his shadow. Thus creating himself a nice lil horcrux. Imagine his surprise however, when his shadow comes to life after. He's rather annoyed at this unexpected development no he isn't he's ecstatic even finally a friend- He tries to keep it under wraps at first, and is even very very successful at it, but is eventually found out by none other than his most delightful senior Rosie.

Me, nervously: Well… I’ve been trying to treat myself like a nervous cat…
therapist, stifling a goodnatured laugh: Oh? can you explain that to me?
Me: Well… if you have a nervous cat, the first thing you do is make sure their environment is safe and remove stressors… and you make sure they have enough food and water and places to hide… and you provide some enrichment in case they need to work out energy…
Therapist: And how are you applying that to yourself?
Me: Um. If I feel anxious, I’ll see if I need to back out of any sites or conversations, enforce my boundaries… check my environment for flashing lights or painful noises… make sure I’m hydrated and have eaten… and work on a hobby
Therapist: those are all excellent things! You’re a nervous cat and you need care and kindness!

The phenomenon of certain radioapple artists drawing Alastor looking like this manly handsome hunk is just ridiculous when in canon he's a feminine looking twink who's thin as hell with a tiny little waist and long legs. It's so painful to me. They're fucking de-twinkifying Alastor and denying him of his girlypop status for their macho top agenda 😭

The denial of his girlypop status is what gets me the most. Why would they take away his sassy wrist flicks? Where's his whimsy? Where's the side of him that called Susan an "ornery old bitch" in the sassiest way possible?
