We Are Not Born To Die!! What Are You Talking About!! Do You Think A Book Begins Just To Finish? Do You
we are not born to die!! what are you talking about!! do you think a book begins just to finish? do you think a song opens with a beautiful chord just for it to end? you don’t read the book to finish it, you read the book to eat up the excitement and the emotions it evokes!! to learn and to digest and to fall in love and be heartbroken!! you listen to the song to dance and dance and sing your throat raw!!! to cry and smile and swell with the harmonies!! yes, we are born with the inevitable fate of death, we are mortal after all, but that is merely the finale of the play!! the final act, the closing of the curtains - we are not born to take a bow and exit stage left!! we are born to love and be joyous and yell and move and learn and cry and feelfeelfeel!!! we are not born to die, silly, we’re born to live!!!

“If a person can’t get out of bed, something is making them exhausted. If a student isn’t writing papers, there’s some aspect of the assignment that they can’t do without help. If an employee misses deadlines constantly, something is making organization and deadline-meeting difficult. Even if a person is actively choosing to self-sabotage, there’s a reason for it — some fear they’re working through, some need not being met, a lack of self-esteem being expressed. People do not choose to fail or disappoint. No one wants to feel incapable, apathetic, or ineffective. If you look at a person’s action (or inaction) and see only laziness, you are missing key details. There is always an explanation. There are always barriers. Just because you can’t see them, or don’t view them as legitimate, doesn’t mean they’re not there. Look harder. Maybe you weren’t always able to look at human behavior this way. That’s okay. Now you are. Give it a try.”

— “Laziness Does Not Exist” by E Price on Medium
(And a footnote I didn’t see explicitly covered in the article: laziness still doesn’t exist when it is you yourself making no progress and not knowing why. You deserve that respect and consideration, too, even from yourself.)
PROLOGUE this is not a story that’s been told before yes, it is the story of boy meets girl but there is so much more; there are secrets uncovered like a blanket ripped off in the early morning hours; there are unbelievable things like if a chapter out of your favorite science fiction novel were to come to life; there are wicked creatures, there are villains, there are things that no one would believe to be true even if they were to see them with their own two eyes but in the heart of it all there is a boy and a girl.
THE BOY he is often lost in tales of fantasy and fiction to avoid living in the real world (a world that treats him like the gum on the bottom of one’s sneaker) and he had no idea that in meeting her, his favorite comic book stories would soon become his own story.
THE GIRL she is strange, unlike any other a little broken bird who lost her way a walking question mark, vying for answers not even realizing that all of her answers were answered when her eyes met his.
CHAPTER ONE boy meets girl, and boy cannot believe that someone like her would even give him the time of day she is incredible, breathtaking, out of this world she is the heroine he would happily be her sidekick if it meant he could follow her to hell and back.
CHAPTER TWO she doesn’t understand things like friendship or love her life was defined by grey walls, confined in a square existence full of abuse and pain and lies before she met him she never realized that there were people in this world who could be gentle with someone as fragile as her.
CHAPTER THREE she teaches him about a world unknown to most and he teaches her about trust and truth and she teaches him about loss.
CHAPTER FOUR boy loses girl, and boy spends his days in a haze his mind clouded with only thoughts of her worrying and waiting
CHAPTER FIVE girl loses boy, and girl spends her days in a daydream where he is with her and she is with him.
CHAPTER SIX it took three hundred and fifty-three days for them to find each other again and it was just as brilliant and life changing as their very first meeting.
CHAPTER SEVEN their story opened and was sealed by a single word:
“promise” | inspired by: x (cc, 2018)
so you dated the wrong person and learned a hard lesson. you chose the wrong major and had to start over again. you cherished a friend who backstabbed you. it sucks, but it’s also going to work out. that’s life; you learn, hurt, love, cry, laugh, and keep going. you experience setbacks and you grow and it’s all okay.

great things are done by a series of small things brought together
I hope you guys like…eventually live the life you want to live and I hope nothing haunts you for too long and I hope you’re all kind to yourselves
