Hello, lovely friends! This is the first of, probably, two or three more rounds of donation requests to my dog (I hope to be a bit more stable after these rounds). They’ll happen with a 3-month interval. More info below.

I’m Sara. I’m brazilian. If you don’t know about my country’s situation (lucky you), we’re in dire need of help. Inflation is making people fight to get bones to eat, because you can’t buy meat. Our president is a breathing joke. Today I’m asking for help because my old friend, Max, needs help to protect himself against a monster that he has been fighting for more than a year: cancer.

I live with my mother earning less than 201 dollars per month and recently (you can see from this account’s history) I started a campaign to cover my dog’s chemotherapy treatment. Fortunately, for now, he doesn’t need chemo anymore! But he needs clinical evaluations that cost almost 1000 brazilian reais (+/- US$ 184,00); we need to do tests to make sure that the tumor won’t come back (unfortunately great chances, because Max is old and the type of cancer he had is aggressive). He’ll need to do these evaluations for three years with different intervals; for more info, you can check this update I wrote a while ago and this one, more recent.

We certainly don’t have this money, specially because I’m also taking care of my mother’s health, and that’s why I beg for your help, friend, and any amount really helps. A dollar is like 5 brazilian reais, so even a dollar helps a lot. On the last campaign I made, we reached 1.400,00 brazilian reais in two days; if we can reach this goal once again, I’ll be able to take him to the vet safely!
