My Sims Diaries #1 - hello again + a blog ramble

Oh hey there, just me once again hoping to find a way to post more consistently. Perfectionism really gets the best of me when it comes to the things I create here and in real life. It's a work in progress for me and I'm hoping to really push myself to share things that aren't perfect or completely finished. I'm currently decorating a house for Sara & Simon from Cottage Living to go in my never going to be finished townie save file when they starting dancing together after I went in live mode to have her do some planting. These are the EA originals since I have my townie makeovers in a separate save, but it was cute in the moment and it made me to want to post about where I'm at with the blog.

I fell out of the flow that was I in with completing townie previews from each world and then I wanted to build. After nearly finishing then scraping an apartment, I got the random inspiration to build for these two and I'm excited to share how their home is coming along - hopefully very soon. That being said, I'm thinking about experimenting with yet another way to stay inspired within my townie project. I'm going to attempt to complete a single household with their full wardrobe of outfits, their home (and any businesses), and then potentially play them for a sim week or two to set up what will be my personal lore and ideas for their story. It could absolutely change again because I have a hard time maintaining focus when things feel stale, but I'm excited by the idea right now.
