Original Universe:

Season 2 aka “Aliea Arc”: Fudou doesn’t care at all about Kidou. He only wants to beat his ass.

Eyeliner: Pretty slight. The wing is only a bit thicker in the corner of his eyes, usually the top one.

Season 3 aka “Inazuma Japan Arc”: Fudou wants to get Kidou attention the whole arc.

Eyeliner: Thicker. Now both wings are thick and both upper and lower eyelids have more eyeliner.

Extra: His game counterpart.

Alternative Universe:

Season 1 aka “Ares”: Fudou was “Kidou, Kidou, Kidou”…but nobody came.

Eyeliner: Slight. The wing is thick on the corner and the upper lid has make up, the lower lid has a light wing.

Season 2 aka “Orion”: Fudou finally met Kidou💕.

Eyeliner: Thicker. Now both wings are thick and both upper and lower eyelids have more eyeliner.

Thoughts on... Kidou adopting three penguin babies! (with Fudou)

First of all, family AU/semi-AU it’s my cup of tea ☕ and having all my favorites together? I F*CKING LOVE IT 💕👌

This family isn’t only “cute”, they have a lot of potential to explore and stuff to develop together.

Fudou lost his family as a kid. He saw his family break apart for economical reasons and “due to his father’s fault” that later abandons them. He only had his mom… but as a single mother she couldn’t spend so much time with Akio… So, in some way, he spent his childhood alone.

Kidou lost his parents at a young age too. He was adopted but his new family isn’t really alike to the one he lost. As much as we know, his adoptive father is almost always absent and Kageyama was the one that took that ‘father role'… but Kidou lost him too. He literally lost his paternal figure twice.

Both suffered a lot and, as someone that can partially relate with both situations, I’m 100% sure they would like to have a family… taking the pieces of their broken families and putting them together to form a new one, hoping to not lose it again.

So why the baby penguins are perfect to be their kids?

Haizaki for a start… leaving aside the fact that he’s a fucking perfect mix between Kidou and Fudou… he has a dysfunctional family in canon. This kid need parents that really understand him.

Kidou has already shown that he is a better paternal figure than that asshole he has as father. He cares for him, he understands him, he trusts his abilities, etc.

And about Fudou, he understands Haizaki’s situation… I would even say that maybe more than Kidou in some aspects. Both have their families in bad economical situations, both understand the need of becoming stronger and powerful to protect someone they care for, both don’t have a father that cared for them and both spent big part of their life alone because nobody truly understood them.

Hikaru… the life’s ironies~What I can say that nobody has already said?

Hikaru is a sweetheart that has suffered a lot for his last name. Taking care of the nephew of the man that hurt them both is a big challenge… but a challenge they can affront. Kidou has already forgiven Kageyama and Fudou doesn’t really care about it since he knows this kid is not to blame. Both can teach him about soccer and Kidou can tell him about Kageyama’s good side.

With Miyabino… we have a little Kidou fan here that loves Teikoku with all his soul. We don’t know much about his life/past but that isn’t an impediment 👀🔪💕

Kidou has shown all the trust he has on this kid, and Miyabino has shown how much he understands him. He has a little penguin that wants to follow his steps.

About Fudou, maybe Miyabino wouldn’t like him so much in a start since, you know, all the stuff with Shin Teikoku… but after spending some time with him, he would get why his commander/father loves him and would start to love his new father too 👀

And lastly, the relationship between the three kids, oh god. Miyabino talking to Hikaru about why Teikoku is so great and the best school. Hikaru training with his brothers since he’s a rookie. Hazaki acting like he doesn’t care but if someone hurts his brothers… 👀 they’ll end up in the hospital. Miyabino yelling “LANGUAGE” to Haizaki and Fudou almost all the time (?

Ok I better stop here because the answer is getting long fhahskks…

Well… to summarize; Kidou and Fudou are the best parents for them and nobody can change my mind.

Small positive vent…? About KdFd+Hikaru+Miyabino

I… I will never be able to thank enough all the users that sent me sweet comments & asks supporting the idea of Hikaru as KdFd’s lovechild, and those that listened to my insecurities about drawing Kidou/Miyabino & KdFd/Miyabino as a family.

Yesterday I was seeing the number of likes in my first contribution for KdFd/Hikaru/Miyabino to the fandom and… it made me very happy to see that my video was about to reach the 100 likes.

All the time I spent working on this meme and the anxiety I felt when I was drawing it… was worth it all.

To be honest… I wasn’t expecting so much acceptation. I know KdFd is one of the most popular ships, I’m not denying it, but… when you add Hikaru to the formula… the things change a bit, and if you add Miyabino… it could change a lot more.

I felt that drawing this meme like… throwing myself into the sea hoping to not drown.

It may sound like I’m exaggerating but I really felt that I could increase the loathe against KdFd if I draw something implying the idea of “Miyabino as their son” since the popular fanon is something unrelated with either of them.

I’m not gonna lie, I was… not sad but something similar… cause the lack of appreciation to the father/son relationship between Kidou & Miyabino in the whole fandom.

It made me question myself if it was a good idea to draw content and upload it here because… what was the point of drawing content if I’m the only one who likes their relationship? If I’m the only one that sees Miyabino as Kidou’s #1 fan/his child and nobody else seems to even like the idea…?

“Don’t draw it”… “You’ll only give more reasons for people to dislike Kidou…to say KdFd fans make everything about them”… “Just shut your mouth and follow the fandom”… “You don’t want to have hate again, do you?”

(Don’t get me wrong, I love and see Miyabino as fan of Genda & Sakuma too, but… I fell in love with Miyabino the second he started to talk about Kidou… so, I guess that explains why I see it that way…)

In the end I said to myself “Do it, there will be always someone who will appreciate it” and all the discourse about why you must draw what you love.

The only insecurity that remained was the one related with adding KdFd to the drawing.

(My obsessed ass can’t leave the idea of drawing “family fanart” haha, possibly my way to draw vent without being noticed)

I ended up talking with friends (I’m embarrassed to tag them on this silly vent…) about whether or not I should draw KdFd content with Miyabino.

Thanks to them I found the strength to throw the first stone and hope to not receive hate… I can never thank them enough for it.

I know it sound exaggerated that it could cause hatred but… I was scared, I’m used to people calling you “disrespectful” for silly stuff and send you hate when you draw something out of the status quo so… of course I saw the idea of taking Miyabino out of the “popular fanon” as something that could cause anger or disgust, and I didn’t want any more hatred that could affect other KdFd fans or the ship itself.

So… that’s why I feel happy and relieved, thank you very much for accepting my small contributions to the fandom, I hope I can make more Kidou/Miyabino & KdFd/Hikaru/Miyabino… *cough* + Haizaki *cough* content as soon as I get my CPU back.

You can’t convice me that my little penguins weren’t present in the first match of InaJapan cheering Kidou, Fudou & Haizaki. 🐧💕
