Goddess of Knowledge, Offering her Fruit
hi!! sorry if you get asked this all the time, but do you have any tutorials on how you colour ? it's always so beautiful!! or if not, do you have any tutorials from other creators you refer to ? ps love your lotr designs so so much !! (+ the gigolas
i don’t, really cuz i don’t really know… how i do it properly in a way i can put to words since i mostly just goof around and hope for the best most of the time. BUT OTHER TUTORIALS IVE GOT! or uh the two i think about the most
color and light by james gurney ok this one imo is ESSENTIAL. its so good. its a book, and its so worth buying. i got it as a present, BUT.. not to promote… ************* but…. if you google “james gurney color and light pdf” i believe you can find a link to download on reddit n other places. OBS! i havent tried the link myself since i own it so i cant guarantee anything. BUT ANYWAY its SO good. id have it as mandatory reading if i taught art class. also, best thing is, if you’re like me and dont have a mind for reading, theres really helpful examples on every page. GET IT.
this one: a classic simple one from renee chio. in its simplicity lies its genius.

of course to this theres variations imo, but mappin out skin by basic color triangle is good to do.
