That line just went crazy for some reason, felt like it needed to be used in some way

Weird crack idea: Dr. Ratio as Korosensei.

Instead Korosensei's wacky and playful nature on how to kill him, this time it's just Ratio constantly scolding his students on the proper ways of killing him and how they're just going to end up dead instead if they don't hold that gosh darn knife properly-

"No. When you aim your gun, at least aim it at me. You must act quick" *proceeds to just teleport in the speed of light*

" Maybe you are actually succeeding at killing me after all. Because I'm being internally destroyed by the sheer foolishness that is your knife throwing skills. At this point, you're just going to stab a poor civilian if you keep this up."

*irrated sigh* "If you want things done, you got to do it yourself." *Then proceeds to give them an in depth lesson on the weakness of an Octopus*

But imagine the backstory of Ratio in this AU though. An experiment gone wrong caused by the foolishness and incapability of the researchers, and unfortunately Ratio became the unlucky victim of this scenario. Now a disfigured Octopus creature with a ticking bomb that could even rival the destruction of a stellaron, left to suffer the consequences of their actions, Ratio knows he doesn't have that much time left.

But if he's going to die, he wants to die knowing that he achieved one of his goals: To teach. To cure the foolishness of the world. If not the world, then at least the students he grew fond of. Although irritating and stubborn they can be, he would be a fool to say that he wasn't proud of how far they have come.

His last dying wish: To teach them of their potential.

Basically: A grumpier and stricter Korosensei. Lol

I will admit, I did not think about the implications that Ratio is essentially teaching students how to KILL, as well as putting them in dangerous scenarios where they are armed. He is by far a morally upright than Korosensei, so I need to come up with a valid reason for why he's teaching students how to kill him. Lol

For Ratio angst w/ the Aventio as a ship: I've seen a good number of content where it's Aventurine's insecurities in their relationship due to how he values himself. But what about Ratio's insecurities due to his own shortcomings? He is fully aware of his flaws such as his blunt manner or strict nature. Emotions isn't in his field of knowledge (despite still being a genuinely caring character when you think about his goals).

On the surface Ratio seemed to accept himself as the way he is, but imagine that slightly changes once he gets into a relationship. How does he act towards his partner? What happens if he loses his temper? Can he give that partner the love that he thinks he himself cannot properly convey even after said partner showers him with so much love? Can he reciprocate that love in the same percentages as them?

Ratio can't change the way he is, he's accepted that fact. But can his partner accept that? Can they still feel love knowing the way that he is? Can he still somewhat change?

(For the sake of hurt/comfort: The answer is yes, lol. Though Aventurine had doubts in Penacony, I can imagine now he sees Ratio the way that he is. A strict yet caring person who wants nothing more but to teach world how to improve themselves, because unlike the genuis society, Ratio believes that even the mundane can achieve something so much better for themselves if they choose to improve, and for that, he finds that truly admirable. There is nothing that he wants Ratio to change, for he likes him just the way that he is. His love and care has been seen and felt.)

Heck, this could still work as an Aventio friendship or any other friendships that Ratio might possibly have in future updates. Hope and pray for more Ratio lore. 👏

I just love Ratio, man. :')

Guys, for ✨Golden Ratio✨ content, we need more hurt Ratio fanfics.

A vast majority of the fanfics people write tend to have Ratio helping Aventurine, whether it be emotionally, physically, or some other third thing if that exists…😅

And nothing is wrong with those stories, I love them! The 2.1 story definitely makes it easy to plan one out, given Aventurine’s whole backstory paired with Ratio’s desire to help others, it’s just asking for that set up.

But Aventurine doesn’t need to be babied or watched over. He’s done so much on his own(I’m not saying that he should always do things alone, but he is certainly capable of doing so).

And when he does need help, it’s almost always him asking Ratio, not the other way around. Ratio is going around saving Aventurine like he’s a damsel in distress.😂

Point is, I want to see Ratio get some help. I get that we don’t know too much about his backstory, but that can be great for fanfics! Take some creative liberty, we Ratio enthusiasts love to theorize and make headcannons about his past!

My idea for these stories was for them to be focused on helping Ratio emotionally,(given how he seems to view all of his relationships as a student-teacher dynamic doesn’t sound too healthy) other ways would be great too.

Now, pardon my… slightly concerning fanfic ideas:

Imagine, our dude Ratio here trips on a rubber duck, hits his head, and gets a concussion(poor ducky, they’re the true victim here😔). Aventurine, for some reason you guys can come up with, has to watch Ratio during his recovery.

Or, something more randomly extreme, Ratio gets shot in the neck Robin style(I am so sorry guys😭) and through some more Robin style plot armor, he’s fine. But while he’s recovering, he’s not allowed to speak, even during the classes he’s supposed to teach. So now Aventurine has to join these classes to be Ratio’s “voice”.

Or you could be more normal and Ratio just gets sick, but where’s the fun in normal? Although I do love a good sickfic…🤔
