The Owl House is NOT a “kids” show. It is a complex and thought provoking piece of cinema. It tackles hard moral topics (like homosexuality) and abuse. This show is NOT for children. If anything, I could compare it to something like Rick and Morty. It’s not meant to be a ‘safe space.’ If the ‘kids’ don’t like it, they can go watch something on the disney jr. channel since that’s more their speed. Maybe they should stop reading fanfiction too, since it’s too much for them.
