TLDR on the AU: Set 8 years after the successful infiltration of Maruki’s palace, Ren Kurusu and Goro Akechi made a promise to find one another, when the time came down to it.
But… people get busy, and some even have to go through physical recovery to find ourselves in proper standing. They move on, they get jobs.
Ren finds his footing as a successful Cafe owner.
Futaba finds success as his manager.
Ann continues to model.
Haru works on her food empire.
Makoto is a licensed and active Firefighter.
Ryuji’s getting better on his leg and decided to go down being a personal coach.
Yusuke is still doing art, and has found great success with his work.
Sumire’s been having trouble, but that’s okay! She’s been visiting a friend in the hospital while finding her footing.
Trouble starts to arise however, when the leader of the currently on hiatus Phantom Theives starts to grow distant, and angry.
With that, and the additional loss of his skills as a wildcard persona user, the rest of the thieves find themselves at a loss.
It’s not until an app similar to the Meta Nav app appears, and someone utters Kurusu’s name that they realize the gravity and the 2 facts of the situation:
1. Ren Kurusu, Leader of the Phantom Theives, their friend, has a palace.
2. They don’t know how to clear it without using combat.

Generally all concepts, but since I’m pretty sure their ideas of rebellion have changed, their outfits as phantom Theives have also changed, too. Good food!
I’ll explain the palace rules at a later date. :3c

It’s entirely inappropriate that Hani’s fundraiser has been stalled ~20k away from its goal for months now. I don’t mean to be so aggressive, but it actually makes me so resentful when I start thinking of the fact that ao3 fundraisers w triple that goal reached it in days. I know that Hani has done everything from showing proof of authenticity, to going into his family’s strife in detail, to even providing pictures—something he absolutely does not have to do. Ignoring that and allowing the campaign to stagnate entirely is so cold. Please share and donate what you can. Clearly no one else has been.
