True love is better expressed with actions and emotions than words

1.   Waking up in a coughing fit you looked beside your noticing the empty space on the bed next to your.  Sitting up slightly, you rubbed your head which was pounding.  Yoongi had probably gone to work by now, so it was no use in asking him to pick something up for your.  you remembered last night when you just as sick and he promised if you needed anything and he had time he’d bring it, but you weren’t quite sure you wanted to bother him.  

Slipping your feet out from under the cover you reached for the box of tissues on the table, dropping it in panic when you heard a small knock on the door.  you eyes focused on it as you reached down to pick up the box, a surprise gasp turned into a fit of coughing when Yoongi walked in with a bag from the store a bag of food from a nearby cafe.  “Shouldn’t you be at work?”

“And leave you youre looking like a mess?” He retorted lightly tossing a bottle of medicine to your as he sat down on the bed, it sinking below him slowly.  “You need to eat,”  He said slightly concerned, ruffling your messy hair slightly.  

“Thank you.”  You whispered, placing a gentle kiss on his cheek only to be pushed away jokingly.

“Aish, I’m here because I want to be with you not get sick.”

2.  The phone in you hands flashed on, the numbers 2:35 staring back at you.  You didn’t want to go back to sleep but you had responsibilities the next day.  The phone locked as you plopped down on the bed, the events of the nightmare replaying in your mind.  Closing your eyes for a second they shot back open, focusing on the ceiling and the darkness around you.

With a deep breath you moved closer to Yoongi, snuggling up beside him.  As the events continued to replay a pair of strong arms wrapped around you, and before you knew it you were pressed against Yoongi’s chest. Smiling slightly, you looked up at him placing a small kiss on his lips as his fingers combed through you hair.  

After a few more minutes he placed a kiss on you head, “Go back to sleep I’m tired.”  He mumbled sleepily.

3.  A giggle escaping your lips you tugged at your boyfriend’s hand.  “Come on, please!”  You whined jokingly, giving him a cheeky smile.  

“I’m not about to carry you up a flight of stairs.”

“But my feet hurt,”  You whined again, giving him an even bigger smile, “And weren’t you the one who said you’d do anything for me.”

“Anything didn’t mean carrying you up the stairs.”

“I don’t think you know the meaning of anything.”  

“I don’t think you know the meaning of I won’t carry you up the stairs.”  You stuck your tongue out at him slightly.

“See this is why I like hanging out with Jungkook more than yo- HEY PUT ME DOWN!”  

4.  You held Yoongi’s hands tightly in yours, as your bodies lay sprawled out on the grassy hilltop.  “When you said you needed inspiration for a song I figured maybe going to a party or reading some books at a library, not looking at the stars.”  You mumbled, your head resting on his chest.

“Well you know this is the best place to get inspiration.”

“On a hilltop?”  You inquired, your eyes traveling from constellation to constellation.

“No, on a date with my girlfriend.”

5.  Drops of rain began hitting the sidewalk as you both walked to your shared apartment.  The picking up of the rain and the sound of your feet hitting the pavement created a rhythm.  The rain began pouring down harder and harder to the point where it would have been impossible to keep walking.   

Finding a place underneath the over extended roof of a shop you both sat on a dry place on the sidewalk.  Out of breath from running for cover, you laid your head on his shoulder as you worked on steadying your breathing.  

Minutes passed and the rain only beat down harder and the air only grew colder.  Shivering slightly you thought about the fact that if you hadn’t had to go to the store you could have both been underneath the warm covers instead of out in the cold rain.  A small smile tugged at your lips when you felt a warmth surrounding you, and looking at Yoongi you realized that you were now wearing his jacket.  When you tried to ask wouldn’t he be cold, he denied that he would, yet you still had a sense that he was as cold as you just were, but nothing you could say or do would make him take his jacket back.

6.  He gave your a gummy smile as they looked into each other’s eyes.  your heart speeding up slightly at the smile.  They lie there, foreheads pressed together, just taking in the moment.  He began speaking, but startled by the sudden noise you jumped slightly, the small little jump causing your to land back on the bed before you proceeded to roll off.  What you expected was help back up but instead you got a laughing boyfriend who, when you finally got up, got teasingly hit.

7.  You let out a groan as you leaned against the metal bars, your eyes traveling up to Yoongi’s.  “So are you giving up?”  He asked teasingly, his eyes focused on the arcade game in front of him.

“No!  Come help me!”

“I’m not going to do weird dance moves just because you want the highest score on an arcade game.”  He answered, clicking his tongue.

“Come on you don’t actually have to dance just step on the left and back arrow keys and I’ll step on the right and front ones.”  Hesitantly he compiled, his foot striking the arrows every once in awhile.

“You know I should just leave you here to look like a fool by yourself,”

“If you really wanted to you would have done it by now,”  You said teasingly poking his chest, “Now look at that we won, what should we make our name?”

“Do I look like I care?”  After looking into your eyes for a few seconds he hesitantly entered a combination of both of your first initials and his last.

“Wow, look at you taking up ¾ of the credi- hey wait don’t leave, I want to keep playing games.”

8. The atmosphere was tense as tears fell from your eyes.  It wasn’t supposed to be like this, you two weren’t supposed to fight, not this badly anyways.  “You know what fine.” You whispered standing up from the couch to stand face to face with Yoongi, “If you really rather do work than actually do something with your girlfriend that’s fine by me, I don’t even see you anymore.”

“(Y/N)-”

“It’s not fair you know?  I stay up almost every night waiting for you and you come home from work later and later.”

“Let me speak pleas-”

“Yoongi we never spend time together anymore, sometimes I feel like you don’t even want to keep this relationship going, if you want things to stop just say-”  your words cut off as you felt a warm pair of lips pressed against yours.  

“I’m sorry,”  He whispered before kissing you again.

9. Anger coursed through Yoongi’s veins as he stared at the scene in front of him.  Twelve minutes.  He had been watching his girlfriend speak to your ex for twelve minutes.  It was supposed to be a trip to the market not a chance for old love to be reawakened.  They were a good couple, he heard from numerous people, even your family, about how great he was.  But (Y/N) was his girlfriend, not the girlfriend of whatever your ex was.  

He stayed watching them from a different aisle before the anger finally got ahold of him.  Walking over he wrapped his arm around (Y/N)’s waist, pulling your close and planting a kiss on your head.  “We should hurry up so we can get to my studio, to work on my song, for my group, don’t you think (Y/N)?”  He asked, forcing his voice to sound as calm as possible.  

“Huh?” you looked up at him, before looking back at your ex, “Oh right, I promised I’d come to work with you.”  You awkwardly waved bye to your ex before turning down the aisle and walking to checkout.  “You know…”  You began, “You’re really cute when you’re jealous.”

“I’m not cute, and I wasn’t jealous.”  

“Sure,” You said before capturing his lips with your own.

10.   He combed through your hair as your head lay rested on his lap.  “You don’t have to stay up with me (Y/N), I’m just working on song lyrics, nothing interesting is going to happen.”

“I know but I like spending time with you.”  

“And I love it when you spend time with me.”  He whispered, which caused you to open your eyes slightly, tilting your head so you could into his.  

“Can I say something stupid?”  He nodded, his eyes fixated on the screen in front of him.  “I’m in love with you.”  You blurted out, before setting your head back down.  

“I know, it’s because I’m a genius right?”  You let out a groan, picking up the pillow beside you to lightly whack him.  

“You’re about to be a knocked out genius.” You said hitting him again lightly.  After calming back down and closing your eyes once more he spoke again,

` “I love you (Y/N), more than anything.”
